Hope my feral cats enjoy this.
Very easy to assemble. And to be able to control the heat is a plus.

Very nice quality
I am quite pleased with this non-heated outdoor cat shelter, with only a couple caveats. I have 5 cats, and while I cajole most of them indoors at night, Del the Funky Feline sleeps outside (or maybe at a neighbor’s house?) about 50% of the time, and with winter coming I wanted to make sure I could offer him a safe sleeping spot here. The reason I picked this one is that it has an escape option with two doors. I would hate for one of my animals to be trapped by a predator. The openings are opposite each other on the short ends, which, ideally I’d actually prefer them to be off set—one on the short end, the other on the end of a long side, which would make it better to avoid predators and strong wind. But this was the only two door shelter in this price range that I could find. I was able to put it together quickly, but it did take me a sec to install the 3-way elbow fittings. That took some elbow grease! But it did make for a sturdy end result. The only part I’m keeping an eye out for is the underneath short end that velcros (you can see it on my upside down picture with Emerson Tater Sauce III checking out the shelter for himself). I couldn’t pull it tight enough to get the Velcro to line up perfectly but I will be asking the spouse to help me with that. Lastly—the included pad is a joke. Fabric is actually dangerous for outdoor cat bedding, it can soak up moisture and be cold and moldy. Straw is the best option. (Not hay, hay also soaks up moisture! I remember it as, “hay is for horses.” Straw is warm and repels moisture, plus it’s way cheaper). Excited to see if they’ll get some use out of this. I also like that it’s big enough that it could potentially house two of my kitties. /novel

Really nice cat house with escape door - seems very weatherproof!
We're trying a few different cat houses for our porch cats and small group of neighborhood cats this winter, and this is one of our top two favorites of the bunch! We love that it has the PVC cover for the roof and the PVC door curtains, and that it has two doors, which will make the cats feel more comfortable. It's not very heavyweight and not sure it would do well in a more open space when there's a lot of wind, but we do have a large tree that offers a lot of protection from wind, rain and snow, so with it being surrounded by that protection as well as its built-in weatherproofing, it should work well where we have it. The Oxford fabric seems pretty durable and while it probably wouldn't withstand a monsoon, it should be fine for our mild Southeastern winters, especially where we have the house sitting. It did take some effort to put it together because where the rods go is awfully tight, and in one section we wound up having to cut a small part of one end just to get the rod to go all the way through. And, getting them lined up right is kind of a pain, and the Velcro straps are pretty tight too, so that all took some work. (I would recommend installing the rods first and then opening up the Velcro and pushing them behind and then around the rods second). Once we finally got all that together though, it works great! We'll be checking it for gaps in the Velcro attached to the roof and side as winter goes on and make adjustments as necessary, but we definitely think this is one of the houses the cats will definitely use this winter and are very happy with it!

Small but high quality
I ordered this with the intention of placing it outside in the winter for the handful of wild cats that hang around in our backyard. The size actually surprised me, it's really rather small. The medium house is only big enough to contain a single cat, there's no way more than one will fit unless they're almost sleeping on top of each other. The measurements are accurate, I don't blame the manufacturer, the house is just a lot smaller in person than it might appear in pictures. Make sure to measure the dimensions before you order. The house was very easy to put together. The material though is top-notch. The house feels nice and solid, firm and not at all flimsy. You can tell that water isn't going to soak through the sides nor will it enter from the roof which is thoroughly covered in clear rubbery plastic. The rear entry / escape door is a neat touch as well, many cats prefer to stay inside something that has a way out in case of danger. The house sits a few inches above the ground so it won't just sit in dirt or moisture either. The house IS a little light though, so take care to strap it down if your yard can get windy. We plan on getting a heating pad to place inside the house to make it as comfortable as possible in the winter months. The house is on the small side and also pretty expensive but I feel confident that it will last for at least a few seasons.

Easy to follow instructions
This outdoor kitty house was fairly easy to put together and the instructions were easy to follow and understand ; however, I did have trouble getting all the long rods to fit together. Even after I got the whole thing put together the rods still seem slightly too long in certain places and I couldn't get the velcro strip to fit around the rod in the front. Other than my rod conundrum the cat house fits together really well and looks solid. I let my house cats give it an inspection before I put it on the porch for our outside cats and they seemed to approve. It seems well made and hopefully will keep our barn kitty safe and dry for the foreseeable future.
