大貫妙子 - Taeko Ohnuki has a lovely voice. I bought this album to hear more of it after hearing her songs 4:00 AM and Tokai, and I was optimistic seeing that other big talents like Tatsuro Yamashita and 2/3rds of Yellow Magic Orchestra worked on this album.It's somewhat evident why this album wasn't as popular, as the songs are overall less catchy, but to me this album is 100% a hit. There isn't a song on this album I skip! In particular, the hit Tokai, Silent Screamer, and Kusuri wo Takusan have a way of sticking in my head. The drumming on this album is very engaging and exciting compared to a lot of other citypop releases, and the bass, while much more subtle than the norm in citypop, is remarkably varied and interesting. Some people have complained about the distance between Ohnuki's voice and the instrumentals, but I like the contrast of the cleanly-recorded instruments with the reverbed vocals; they add a distinct, lonely quality to the music. Overall, I feel this is a good album to introduce people to citypop if they like western classic rock.

I absolutely love this album. Perfect for listening in Summer or Springtime.The CD case I received had a broken spindle, so the CD doesn't fit securely in the case, but it doesn't matter too much as I'm not transporting the CD very often.

This a great album with many fantastic tracks. I happened upon this album while on YouTube a few months ago, and I've been digging it ever since. Taeko's singing is fantastic, and I love those harmonies she has with herself. The horns work also work quite well on their songs. It's just an all-around breezy listen. I currently have it playing in my car, wishing it were warmer. And yes-- this CD works fine in a standard CD player. I can't really tell the difference between this CD and a normal CD in terms of sound, but it does sound clear and seems to have been remastered well. If I ever get my hands on a vinyl copy, I'll have to compare. In the meantime, though, I'm satisfied with this CD.

The disk is pristine, really good album. But the case came shattered in some parts. Either way, I’m glad to have this in my collection!!

Un álbum quizás más alejado del City Pop que su predecesor, que sin embargo se vuelve interesante gracias a los numerosos arreglos de cuerda y los tintes de rock progresivo en algunos de sus cortes, coproducido y co-compuesto por Ryuichi Sakamoto. La copia que se vende normalmente corresponde a la editada en 2010 por Panam, que está remasterizada. Cuenta con la tecnología del láser de lectura azul patentada por Sony ( similar al BluRay ), aunque el CD es leído por cualquier reproductor. Como suele ser habitual en este género es un artículo de coleccionista, dado que no quedan muchas copias.

por lo que he pagado, me esperaba algo en optimas condiciones, llego con el case quebrado. El disco esta bien

サマーコネクションのボーナストラックのためだけに買いました。昔から良い曲なのになんでこんなにぬるい演奏なの？と思っていました。たまたま以前ここにこのトラックの試聴データが置いてあった頃、こうでなきゃな。と思っていていずれどうにかしたいと思っていましたがやっとどうにかした次第です。別物ですな。クリスパーカーじゃなくスティーヴ・ガッドなら最初から良かったのでは？なんてね。

動画サイトで初めて聴いたら気に入ったので、CDを購入してみました。どの曲も都会的で洗練されていて、今の時代に聴いてもやはり新鮮に感じます。購入してよかったです。
