Deceptively Described
This product fits into a 2" trailer hitch, but it does not accept 2" trailer attachments on the other side! It seems deliberately designed for some other smaller size of attachments.But why would I have smaller attachments if I installed a 2" standard hitch on my truck?

This is not wide range product as stated
In my opinion, this swing out arm is for their product line "Rockland" attachments, I say this since, as another has pointed out a standard 2" bike rack doesn't fit due to the 1 3/4" slot, as per their picture.I dropped it a star due to the info they stated "VERSATILE COMPATIBILITY: Our Swing Away Arm is designed to fit vehicles with a 2” hitch on one side and a 1.25” connection on the other, providing universal compatibility for a wide range of vehicles and accessories.". with that stated why I had to do the below reducer concept to utilize the 1.25" slot.I actually adapted a work around for my setup and reversed their attachment and added supports using 2" washers that you can find in the hardware bins at Lowes, then used a TOPTOW Trailer Hitch Extender Adapter, 2" Receiver, 4-1/4 inch Rise/Drop, 1-1/4 inch Solid Shank to accept my bike rack which then I needed to drill one hole to match the bike rack hole and finally adding the 3 added hitch tighteners which made it pretty sturdy overall.I know its a lot but with the standardized hitch sizing we have on the market I was limited. I searched and searched for other ways before accepting this as a work around.

Doesn't work
This product will not receive a 2-in bike rack, receiver or 2-in cargo basket. I do not know what the hell it is for but it is not for what it is being advertised to do So Don't waste your time!

Durability and ease of use
I used this item with a max haul hitch carrier that turns into a dolly. It fits well with it and I can now swing it out of the way to open the back gate of my vehicle when it's loaded. When it's empty and folded flat I can open my gate without having to swing it away and it gave me more clearance between the vehicle and cart, then without the swing arm. I have to pick up the outer edge of the cart to get it to unlock and swing open with ease, and same to get it to lock back into place. It does what I bought it for, only gave 3 starts due to having to pick up the carts edge to get it to open / close properly. The cart is heavier then your normal hitch cargo carrier.
