these socks are pretty thin, which might sound like a bad thing, but for a person who's allergic to high temps and gets warm very quickly, it's really nice to have a thinner everyday sock. the tamago pattern feels a little constricting, as (i believe, based on how it feels) the pattern is embroidered on. you can hear the sound of the threads stretching when you first put them on, but once they've been worn that goes away & theyre very comfortable. the maki socks are smooth, since (again, guessing here) the pattern is printed rather than stitched. it sounds stupid, but having some nice novelty socks really makes the days a little brighter because it makes my dumb brain excited to get to wear a new one every day. it's also a great incentive to keep my socks together & folded, since im apparently 5 years old and hate keeping any place organized, seeing them all together makes my very happy.

I bought two sets of these sushi socks as Christmas gifts. One for my 21-year-old daughter (who likes sushi). The other for a 61-year-old female friend. Both people are artists and like unusual, creative things. I ordered them during the holiday season, but they still arrived promptly. The packaging is absolutely inspired, and got laughs and "ooohhs" before anyone even took out the socks. The socks are appreciated too. They are pretty, boldly colored, and fit well. I would absolutely buy them again. Thank you, maker of this product, for having a sense of humor, creativity, eye for design, and a knack for funky gifts! Absolutely LOVED them!

These are some of the most adorably packaged socks I have ever seen. They are really well-sized and are perfect boot socks for Fall, or crew socks for work - everyone likes a cool sock under some work pants. (I gave 5 stars for warmth because they are the appropriate thickness for the uses I just mentioned - they are not heavy Winter socks, however).They also came with real tiny containers for sauce/whatever you choose, which I also really liked and we plan to use.I bought some for my roommate and I to share, and am about to buy another pack to send to a friend.10/10 would recommend :)

You may have questions about these socks, such as: Are these socks soft? Are they too thin? Do these socks fit properly?The answers to these questions don’t matter. I’m convinced my wife will never open the packing and actually wear these socks because the packaging looks so awesome. It’s become a display piece on top of her dresser. Also, she’s pregnant so she can’t have sushi.10/10 would recommend.

What a fun way to gift socks! Sock are soft and very good quality. Loved the presentation! Got it as a gift for my kids. They did not want to open it, this is how much they loved the presentation. I see them keep wearing those socks every day now!
