Messy and icing was off color and smelled odd
Vey disappointed with this purchase, the icing was a tan color instead of white. There was also a broken piece. The icing does not adhere to the cookies and the candies do not stick at all. There is a note on the box to not eat the frosting and after seeing the color and the smell would not have done it anyway. Not happy with this purchase and I cant return it due to it being a food item.

When they say big they aren't exaggerating
This kit was fantastic. It is about 4x the size of the smaller ones from this same company that come two to a box. It was well packaged, tightly wrapped pieces that were then held secure along with the rest of the items on a cardboard tray and wrapped. Then everything was wrapped in bubble wrap. There was plenty of icing to assemble this house, two of the smaller ones and a small locking one. We haven't decorated them yet to give them all time to dry, but the amount of candy is ok. I like a lot more than they provide with any kit. I was really impressed with this company's packaging though. I ordered two of these and six of the smaller ones and not a broken piece in any of them. Icing held well and fairly quickly. Easy assembly as a result. One caution on this large one don't accidentally push in the middle when attaching the roof. Push only on the edges. Mine split nicely in half because I wasn't thinking. Still held up and attached just fine though.Picture attached, this kit is on the far right (the largest of the three)

Large gingerbread house kit - not broken when delivered
This is the first time I ordered a gingerbread house that was not broken when it arrived. Last year the grandkids were so disappointed that the gingerbread house came broken. So this year it will be fun since the gingerbread house is intact!

Gingerbread house tradition
Every year at Christmas I get together with my 8 grandchildren and decorate a gingerbread house. It is a family tradition. My grandchildren are all adults but we still keep the tradition. The house was delivered intact and on time. As usual, Amazon was great.
