Very effective. Was able to grind dry Indian spices. Light weight. Motor is powerful. Best part was extra blades that came with it. Was not sure of the durability of the product so purchased warranty too with it which came under $10.

For 20+ years, I have used an old blender to crush my dehydrated pepper. The blender just cannot reliably grind the seeds leaving larger than desired flakes and seeds. After a lot of research, I bought this grinder. The container is not that large, but it will grind peppers and seeds to powder. It is so simple and I realy like the locking lid. I appreciate the siction cups on the bottom to hold it in place on a smooth surface.

Grinds very well and very quickly. Especially good for Indian chutneys. Love the size, not too small and not too big. Only drawback is when grinding larger quantities it tends to spill out. I unjust press it down really tight.

I was really excited to gift this to my husband who makes his own dry rubs. He didn’t even get to use it as the product had a defect. You have to press a red lever on the bowl that is supposed to push down a red plastic piece that would push against a similar red piece on the base of the unit. When that happens, your grinder will engage. The red piece inside our bowl would not push down when the lever was pressed so our until never turned on. Bummer. We are going to return it and keep looking.

So far this spice grinder has been great. I cook Indian food that requires multiple toasted spices

Amazing product perfect for making powder. Grinds things super fine. Isn’t not for small quantities u need far amount to make power its little big jar,but I love it.

It's so good for indian spices as well. I use it to grind cumin, corriander, ajwain, star many more. some chutney.. but few liquid is now spilling even when the lid is closed when trying to grind liquid items.. other than that it makes good powder.. it's good for dry items I would say
