This is a beautiful book shelf and I wish that we could keep it. But unfortunately some of the other reviews are right it had a very strong , STRONG toxic chemical smell to it. I took my chances on ordering and thought maybe I would be fine. But when assembling it me and my husband started to get a headache from how strong the smell is from it. He said his eyes were even itching/ burning from how strong it was. We placed it out in the garage last night hopefully to air it out. This morning the garage smells so strong of this toxic smell. I would not take your chances on buying this bookshelf. It is extremely toxic and I honestly feel it shouldn’t even be sold anymore.

The product was easy to put together, and seems to be good quality. Only problem is it smells very bad. It has a horrible chemical smell that you can smell from the next room. Tried wiping it down and it doesn’t seem to be going away.

Bookshelf was just the right fit for a small space in the baby's room. It fits quite a few baby books and the baskets below hold small toys, rattles and stuffed animals. Easy to put together and looks very nice.

This was super cute and my son loved it, BUT, what is the deal with the awful smell? At first I thought it wasn’t bad but when I woke up the smell had moved from the nursery to the entire house? It’s very strange. I hope it eases up soon. It wasn’t difficult to assemble. Good price. Great size. Color is perfect.
