Bought these for my grandsons for Christmas. Four months later they are still playing with them. These light sabers are durable, have a realistic sound when they battle, and the boys love that they can change colors. The charge lasts for a week and it's easy to recharge when needed. Super cool - great replica! I recommend you use red thermal locker ( RED lock tight ) on the small hex nuts they provided to prevent from vibrating loose. The device is super durable otherwise. Long battery life. Many fun features bought it for GF daugher- lots of fun. Definitely far better than other models. I would buy again, as gifts for enthusiasts.

Changing from 2 to 4 stars.]The light looks fine, if that's all that matters to you, but the audio quality was very poor. One of the two sabers sounded okay, but the other barely put out any sound at all, and the sound it did emit was more like a 30-year old dying modem trying to connect to the internet. The sabers feel rather weak as well. It could be good for my 4 year old, but anyone older might break it on accident. Maybe I got a dud on the sound thing. I'm going to give them one more change and get a replacement. If that doesn't work... Well... I'll just feel bad, I guess. :)

I can't speak to how long these will last but my 10 year old loves them. I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality. Very sturdy feeling. They are just the right sound level. Not too loud and not too quiet. The different colors and the sounds they make when they clash together is awesome.

My 8yo son asked for this for Xmas and it was exactly what he asked for. There’s almost too many colors of lightsaber to choose from, but that’s fine because he’s a fickle kid. They connect beautifully and work well apart too. The sound effects are great and not cheapy. The handles are real metal and painted well. Fantastic buy overall.

The product is well-made and of good quality. However, I expected it to produce sound when swung. However, it only generates two sounds—one upon contact and another when powered on or in use.Though my son enjoyed it, the addition of a humming sound during swings would enhance the experience.

Purchased the light sabers for my 9 year old grandson. The realism and finish on the handles is impressive and the myriad of colors are stunning. Dueling in the dark is a must! The sound effects are adequate. The sabers held up well to vigorous play. Adult supervision recommended.
