Love it, except the magnet
Great design, and the side-pouches are a game changer for holding quick access food, tools, etc. Very comfortable to wear, and the straps hold tight and are easy to adjust. Love the included hydration bladder, and the bite-valve on it. But… the magnetic attachment for the drinking tube is only half-baked. First, it’s too weak a magnet and gets knocked loose all the time, even before I’m on the bike. So, I have to push it through the zipper pull on the side pocket so it doesn’t end up in my spokes. Which holds it solidly, almost as if it was designed for that. So, actually it works. But then I have a theoretical safety problem, as the hose will no longer break away safely if it gets caught on seat, handlebars, etc. Low-probability, but it could be ugly under the right circumstances.Otherwise, a stellar upgrade from a backpack, comfort and temperature-wise. If you run hot, a waist pack is a huge improvement. In terms of storage volume, this size is just what I expected, but don’t expect to be able to cram all your usual items in here. I found that if I folded carefully, I could just get a rain jacket and pants into the main pockets. Or, lunch, tools, etc. But not both.

I gave it a 5-STAR
I love this waist pack. It has a lot of room and fits well. Good quality too. It's expensive, but I think the build quality sort of justifies the price. I recommend the Seral-7 waist pack as your only pack. It will do the job! If you buy a smaller version I think you will regret it.

Too Big?
It’s a great product but was too big for my use, mtn biking, I was hoping for something a bit narrower. Hydration tube was really awkward. I’ll probably use it just for hiking.

Osprey Seral 7 Could be better?
So did my research, and settled on the Osprey Seral 7. Got it delivered. Looked amazing…till I inspected closely. As you can see from the pictures, there was material scratches and looked like it got hooked on some metal/abrasive. To top it off, the magnet that is supposed to be on the belt, was missing. I can’t believe people don’t do their due diligence when sending out a product, and check it out thoroughly. I think if it had less material scratches, I could live with it. There is a warranty on it, but I was really excited to use this Osprey product. Not sure if I’m going to use it for a ride tomorrow, and return it, or use it at my peril.Unbelievable!

Great hydration bag you won't know you are wearing.
I did a lot of research on hydration bags even having a cheap backpack from Walmart. While the backpack works, it ended up causing me so lower back pain so I went in search of something different. I read quite a few website and settled on this bag. I put this one for my first ride and didn't realize it was even there. You have to make minor adjustments as you drink more water but that is normal. This bag has quite a few places for tools and snacks in the side/hip pockets. I am a large guy and I was able to get this back to fit around my waist easily.

Typical Osprey High Quality
I had the slightly smaller version of this lumbar pack (we simply called them fanny packs in my day...). It worked great for shorter bike rides, but I gave it to my daughter to use for hiking since a regular backpack often caused her some back pain. She really likes it. And I love this slightly bigger one. Still works great for cycling (mountain biking) but now it's big enough for me to use for day hikes as well.

Good quality and well organized, but with a mediocre hip belt and non detachable bladder hose
ProsThe pack itself is great. The organization is well thought out and I can get to everything quickly with nice quality zippers. Quality overall seems quite good.ConsThe hip belt is disappointing as it’s just a thin, unpadded belt like you'd see on any cheap pack. The hip pockets are ok, but too small for an iPhone 13 Pro in a thin case. The belt is uncomfortable and was pretty much the deal breaker for me.Also, the hose doesn't disconnect from the bladder which is just down to Osprey trying to save a buck. The bladder is a third party HydraPak brand. My USWE Zulu 6 pack has a HydraPak bladder that is exactly the same in every way except that one is detachable, which makes cleaning much easier. Charge us a few bucks more and include detachable hose. Kind of another deal breaker.I got the USWE Zulu and while the organization and access isn’t as good, the hip belt setup is much more comfortable and it doesn’t flop around like the Osprey. The hip pockets also fit my phone with case. The USWE costs quite a bit more, but it’s worht it.

My favorite hip pack for biking!
This product made my biking experience a breeze in terms of carrying all the things I need! Even all my Osmo Action 4's accessories fit in this pack! Got it for cheap so thats a major steal!

Review producto Osprey.

Promosso a pieni voti!

Make sure to shorten the water hose to correct length!
I like it! I don’t know how the bag will hold up over time but I guess it will do just fine. The fabric inside is quite thin and almost paper like in texture but it seams to do the job. I don’t use this product for mountain biking but for light tracking in warm weather where I need a small handy bag. Make sure to cut the water drinking hose to correct length! There is a instruction video on youtube. Otherwise it will create a loop that will snag into everything.

Fantastic....so much nicer than a backpack
Great piece of kit, especially for a day ride. Much more comfortable than wearing a backpack too, especially if like me, you sweat a lot. Enough room for phone, keys, and snacks etc
