Astromania M42X0.75 Female to SCT Male Thread (2", 24 TPI) Telescope Adapter

All metal. Threads are well cut. Works as expected for my SCT telescope.

I bought this adapter to use my 0.63 SCT reducer on my refractor, I need to attach one end to a 2" to T2 and then plug it on the 2" focuser, at the camera end I use my SCT to canon spacer or just remove the canon adapter and screw it on the T2 adapters on a dedicatec cooled camera and works great.

Just what I needed! I had loads of T adapters and T rings etc. for my Schmidt cassegrains but they would not work on my new short SkyWatcher refractor. Astromania M42X0.75 Female to SCT Male Thread (2", 24 TPI) Telescope Adapter to the rescue! With this one inexpensive part I was imaging with my new scope without having to buy specialized T adapters. I already had what I needed thanks to this adapter.

It’s solidly built and woks as it should. I just wish it was thinner.

I used this to be able to mount a filter wheel between my flip mirror and the scope (CPC11). That way the filter works for both the eyepiece and the camera, instead of just one or the other. I did have to adapt the m42-f thread to m48-m threads, but that didn’t seem to affect the light path.

This is a somewhat specialized adapter, I used it to adapt a Televue TRF2008 reducer to an Apogee U8300 camera. For that purpose, it works well. And much cheaper than the dedicated Apogee adapters (if you can even still buy those).

As advertised solid heavy duty material incorporated into a solid design. I would buy again.

Worked great also fast shipping. Used to put a F/6.3 reducer on my refractor telescope.

Finally found an adapter that fits my Celestron XLT diagnal so I can mount it on my RC6.Thank you.
