So far so good, but it hasn't been that cold yet
I got these for my husband who spends time in the fall and winter sitting in tree stands and ground blinds. When you're just sitting circulation can be a problem so keeping your feet warm can be a real issue when you're out in the field for the whole day. He got a chance to try these a couple days ago along with some app controlled foot bed heaters. It's not winter yet but was in the mid thirties and wet and rainy when he went out. Results are mixed. They seem thinner than they should be, but in the mid thirties weather kept his feet warm. He did use them for a while without the footbeds and they seem to retain the heat just fine, so they do work. His only issue is they're too noisy to wear on your boots walking out to your blind or stand, much less no traction, but they aren't the easiest to get on in the field either. I think the later has more to do with his bad back so it may be easier for others with better mobility to put them on in the field, but for him it was a little struggle. As it hasn't gotten real cold yet, we'll have to see how well they work once the temps and snow show up, but we will report back if they don't perform as expected.

Decent
More thin than I thought and it does make a bit of noise swiping the material.

Keeps your toes toasty in the cold
Living in a warmer climate, we don’t have a lot number of days where the temperature isextremely cold so my normal boots only have 400 grams of insulation. On days where it does drop down to high teens to low twenty’s, these boot covers make a world of difference when sitting dead still in a tree stand. They do have a solid sole so you can walk in them, but I keep them in my back pack until I get inthe stand.Once settled into my stand, I slip them on over my boots. The boot covers have a full zipper in the back that allows you to just slip your boot into thecover and then zip it back up. They are oversized to compensate for the size of the boot you’rewearing.I would recommend going up a size, especially if you’re not going to be walking inthem so a tight fit isn’t necessary. If it is extremely cold, you could also drop a hand warmer down into the toe of the cover onceyou have them on your boot. While I’ve not had to do that yet, I suspect that would really keepyour toes and feet comfortable.I’ve never used anything like this but often wished I had something to help keep my feet warm. Now I do! I completely recommend these boot covers to anyone having to sit in the cold. And...they do look incredibly funny so you might consider wearing them to a party cause you'll get a lot of laughs!

Nice addition for cold weather hunting in a tree stand
I was expecting these to be heavier than they are, but they are lightweight and not overly bulky. I hope they help to keep my feet warm in the cold weather on the stand.

Fit great
We do allot of hunting and your feet get pretty cold. These go over your boots to provide warmth and it creates traction. They fit over the boots great and work like they should. Easy to fit in and made well. I definitely recommend these for hunting or hiking whenever it's cold.

big to go over boot
They are not very thick and it's too warm to judge how well they will keep feet warm but it should help. I've had others of these that wouldn't fit over any kind of boot - only something like tennis shoes but these are nice and large. There is a zipper on the back so you can slip your shoe in and a drawstring on the top to seal in heat. But on mine one of them had a defective zipper - it didn't go all the way to the top and when I zipped it the zipper pull tab just just came completely off meaning that one is going to be open at the back and therefore not much warmth. Maybe it's a fluke, maybe quality control is lacking in general.

Very happy so far.
I've only used these for a short time, but the cold is setting in and cold season hunting is upon us so I will be able to put these to the test out in the super chilly wisconsin woods. What I can say at this point is they fit well. I wear an 11 size shoe and had no problem fitting these over my boots. I really like the zipper in the back, makes them easy to get on and off. While it's been unreasonable warm, I can't rate the warmth effect truly yet, it's really starting to cool off here, so I should have a better idea of how warm they keep my feet in a month or so. Quality materials and I like they are in camo too.
