didn't use it as intended
it looked and sounded great. when I took our 4 month old (our 1st child) for our 1st flight to see my parents (my husband couldn't go due to his work) I had barely left the house alone, forget about the state! I was terrified my son would just freak out and I would not be able to soothe him and everyone would kill me with those "looks". you know the look, you've given them, pre-baby at least, I know I had certainly. so I chalk up my purchase to my own fear-mongering. I used the FlyBaby, but as a "high chair" when I got to my parents. This was their 1st grandchild too so they had really no baby stuff at their house yet. I never used it on a lounge chair as is also pictured on their site, although it seems like a cute idea, in practice I felt like the chair might tip over if my son started to wiggle around - which you know they most definitely would have - he wasn't going to sit there quietly and finish his novel sipping a fruity drink like I wanted to. because I flew coach and opted for my son to be a "lap" child I thought this would giv my arms a break and give him a chance to play and look at me. The FlyBaby did not fit with my son in it as the instructions read. The seat in front of me was too close, so it really did me no favors. It was cute, it would have worked if I had flown 1st class maybe, I did use it, but only as a high chair, I still own it and have high hopes we may use it again to try and get our money's worth, but wouldn't buy it again.

Pretty good
Worked fairly well on the plane when my son was 4 months old (and pretty small 4 month old). The person in front of me had their seat reclined so it made it a little difficult to use. Have not tried it for chairs yet. Was only able to use it for one plane trip because my son got too big. Honestly, I probably wouldn't buy this again.
