Cute!
For the price , this is a very cute and useful ladle. I’ve used it for stew and chicken and dumplings so far. Scoops up a good sized portion.

The plastic Whale Soup Ladle and Slotted Spoon Set is such a cute and functional kitchen tool. Both the ladle and slotted spoon are heat-resistant and BPA-free, making them safe for everyday use. The detachable base keeps the utensils upright, preventing messes and saving space. They work well for serving soups or gravies. I'm happy to use them.

Cute But Lightweight
The whale soup ladle and slotted spoon I received was VERY lightweight, so much so that it wouldn't stay put in the fitted white bottom tray made to hold it- it kept flopping over. The set does contain one soup ladle, one slotted spoon (which rests atop the soup ladle when not in use) and one white base which is supposed to hold the both of them. As I stated, although a cute idea, the plastic the soup ladle and slotted spoon are made of is too flimsy and not weighty enough to stand in the white base easily.
