Sterile Non Woven Swabs - 5cm x 5cm (5 per Pouch, Pack of 25)

I discovered this brand a few months ago and was shocked at difference in price to sterile dressings in chemist, these are such good value.I have been buy boxes of 10x10 regularly since but I should have stocked up because this time 10x10 out of stock 😔 I bought these instead and much too small for me, I have to use 2 or 3 each time so working out much more expensive But that is personal problem due to me needing larger dressings.If you need this smaller size then they are still great value.There are 5 dressings in each sterile peel pack and dressings are very soft, they can be opened out but obviously lose some of absorbency if do so.Perfect for cleaning and dressing wounds and placing on top of sterile non adherent dressings as they absorb light weeping.Still great value as single pack of 5 sterile dressings this size is over £1 in chemist.Arrive in cardboard dressing box to store.Great for first aid kit

Needed to clean my eye after surgery. They come in packets if 5 which means that the whole box of contents are not exposed. Easy to use and good absorbency. Would buy again.

Handy to have to help with those little accidents

Great product - I purchased these to clean some head wounds I sustained.They are absorbent and most importantly they don't leave 'fluff' in the wound like cotton wool or other materials.Works perfectly for cleaning wounds with saline - I suppose it would also be possible to use these as a makeshift dressing (as a better option that cotton wool)

Sent home after cataract surgery with one pack of 5 similar swabs. Have now had to buy three boxes of these, to keep both eyes clean! They seem, to a non-professional, excellent quality and same day delivery with prime removed initial stress when I realused how many I would need immediately.

Deivered from Amazon in 2 days. what a disgrace when you have to order from Amazon and pay for medical supplies. Quality good, Just what Radio Therapy patients need. Have ordered The GEL because I could not get that either.I hope that comes today as promised.

I have been buying these swabs for months now, and I've come to rely on them so much I don't know what I'd do if they ever stopped selling them. They are absorbent, soft, and come in sterile packets of five. What more could you ask for when it comes to swabs? I use them to dress a small surgical wound that I've had for the past year, and will have for the foreseeable future due to my Crohn's disease. These swabs have been my saviour; they soak up any blood/fluid with ease, and you can easily carry around a spare packet with you should you need to change the dressing when you're out of the house.

I find these swabs very good following an operation for a leg ulcer but they do allow some leaking from the wound to escape to my stocking. I therefore use them two at a time to help this problem.
