I bought this product to make Dubai chocolate, and it did an amazing job! It pairs perfectly with Dubai chocolate. The package is large and generous, you can make Dubai chocolate multiple times and still have some left.Perfectly crispy, super fresh, and more. Definitely worth the price.

The media could not be loaded. The pieces are long and perfectly crispy. I first tried it with Dubai chocolate, and my wife and I loved it. I personally like using a generous amount of kataifi. Considering its crunchiness and flavor, I’ll definitely keep buying this brand — I honestly can’t see myself switching to any other.Next, I made a Shredded Phyllo Dessert. The La Miones kataifi is thin and finely shredded, which made it even crispier after baking. It turned into a deliciously crispy dessert.So far, these have been the best Dubai chocolates and Shredded Phyllo Dessert I’ve ever made. Once I run out, I’m definitely ordering more!I'm also adding a picture of the Dubai chocolate I made — just look at how perfect that filling texture turned out!

Not as expected

Arrived quickly and well-packaged; nothing overly shredded or damaged (spilling out). My rec is to lightly toast on low heat with plenty of butter (maybe add some cinn/sugar if you would like). The light toasted flavor makes it the perfect crunch/flavor I like. I use this for adding to brownies and phylo dough desserts; and yes, it goes VERY WELL with pistachio butter/creams. If you like crunch, you will like this!

This was my first time trying kataifi. I used this product for a savory dish with spinach, feta cheese, and spices. Despite some confusion with the recipe, it worked great and tasted delicious. The kataifi itself, of course, doesn't have much flavor, but it provided a good filler and texture for mixing the other ingredients.There was a little powder in the bottom of the bag, but I expected that from shipping, so not an issue from my perspective.Overall, good value and good, fresh product.

Of course I made the viral Dubai chocolate, and with this kataifi it was easy! It browned quickly in some butter, so keep an eye on it during that step. It was crunchy and delicious, I'm so glad I found some. It's a decent size bag and it's going to make a lot of chocolate! I'll have to look up other recipes that use this. Will buy again.

The LaMiones Premium Dried Kataifi arrived in a sealed plastic bag that doesn’t reseal. 500 grams is a lot, so I’m following directions I found online to store it: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 months or freeze for up to 6 months.This is the first time I’ve used dried Kataifi, but it worked well in the Dubai chocolate bars I made. I browned the Kataifi in some butter (all I had to do was measure out the amount I wanted/no chopping needed) and all was well. The crunchiness of the Kataifi in the chocolate bar’s filling added a great texture. For me this ingredient is more about the texture than the taste.The bag I received in October 2024 had “Expire Date: 09/29/2025” printed on a label on the back of the bag. Made in Turkiye.
