Great book! (Minus the intense orthodox stuff)
I AM NOT ORTHODOX, however, this book was amazing. My husband and I are baal teshuva but again, not practicing orthodox.Like anything, there are parts to it you simply have to ignore. Like the bit about a husband and wife becoming so close their like brother and sister..um no. Or the part about how a husband should never know what the inside of the grocery store looks like because his job is only to study Torah to combat is yetzer hara. Um no. Sorry, but my husband doesn't spend his life in a Kollel studying Torah. He has a job and a life and helps me around the house because he's a mensch and this is real life. That being said, those were just a few annoying paragraphs out of what is truly an amazing book. After reading this, I really felt like my husband and I could have the best possible marriage. It really encourages you and empowers you. If you want to have a meaningful relationship with Hashem, you will love this book. I ordered 3 more Shalom Arush books and can't wait to start the Garden of Emuna. I definitely recommend this to anyonelooking to improve their marriage with Hashem's help.

An excellent self-help book as well as marital book
This book makes you reflect on how to improve your self, thus improving your marriage. I think in the world in which we live today, we have really twisted our values on so many fronts. it takes awesome power to self-reflect, re-align, unlearn erroneous ways of interacting. I believe if you want something that you've never had, you have to do something that you've never done. What's most important for women to remember is that when God is at the forefront of it all, you cannot lose. AWESOME book! I give it as gifts to newlywed women.

A Must Have Book for every Woman/A REAL MANUAL
Rabbi Sholom Arush explained that just as how much important it is to take a thourough study (both the road rules and the actual) before driving a car; so to prevent a driver from harming himself/passengers and other drivers how much more in marriage. Both men and women should study about marriage before embarking on it. So as not to clashed with one's spouse and not to lead the marriage into divorce which greatly affects the children as well. Both the book The Garden of Peace for men and Women's Wisdom are must haves. When both spouse read and observe their respective books together - they will meet in love and peace. These books are truly powerful that it heals up the relationship of spouses even in the brink of divorce. It is such a great blessings that these books has been written-thank G-d!I wished, I could have learned about Women's Wisdom as early 17 1/2 it could have saved me a lot of pain in preparing for courtship and marriage. This is highly recommended from single women (from marriageble age) to women who has been married even for 50 yrs!The best books ever!! You'll see and you can't stop recommending it.

For Women Only
The book, Women's Wisdom: The Garden of Peace for Women, was a great surprise to me. It has helped me greatly in understanding the role of the woman, and especially what G-d expects from us. Very inspiring. Love the way the Rabbi gives examples. Great to know that there is a book for only men, as well. This book would make a great gift to newly wed women, especially if they love to read. It will definitely help them in their new relationship with their husbands. Helps all women to really experience how to be the main Queen Bee of your home. Thank you.

Pearls of Wisdom and Insight; Caveats of Misogyny, Superstition, Repetition
This book has so many wonderful, insightful pearls of wisdom that I am giving it four starts, despite the upsetting misogyny, which I suspect the author and his translator Lazar Brody fail to recognize, and a bit of superstition, where old wives' tales are presented as facts. I would recommend this book to readers who are able to sift through and take what is useful with you. I don't recommend this book to readers with black and white thinking who lack this trait, and feel the need to accept something in its entirety or throw it away.I like his other books much more, especially, "Garden of Emunah."Editing and better organization would also be helpful, as the book is repetitive, and could be streamlined for easier use. I understand there may be some issues with translation and style, but it would be productive.Okay, I am prepared for indignation and angry diatribe from the purist fans. Please just make sure the fruit is soft before launching.
