love thesemost builders will tell youno rawl plugs required.Just under-drill the hole to allow the spax screw to be driven in - best use a impact driver for this and the correct spax bit. Ones that are not right will spin or break.just DONT over-drill the host hole! Easy to use and if ot sure check on a test brick or block before you use if not sure - you'll never go back work on any material concrete brick block etc.
