Pet Feedster Automatic Dog Feeder

I'm a freelancer with a fluctuating work schedule- a good feeder for my Maltese is def a life saver. I'm surprised by how user-friendly it is to operate. I've played with the portion control function and so far it is working great. If you're looking for a reliable machine that's easy to program and use, I'd recommend trying it.

Works great for small dog food! Has helped tremendously when I need to be away for a few hours and miss the regular feeding time because I'm stuck at work or need to run an errand.Helps me keep track of portion control too. (I tend to over scoop on my own and pup is getting fatty)

Number one, don't spend your money on this feeder. There are much more robust, better made and reliable feeders out there. I know as I have tried them all and I have finally found the one that works great in all weather cold, hot, and high humidity. The feeder allows mice to enter the feeder via the food ramp on the front, The wiring is too thin and is poorly soldered. I had mice eat the paddle 5 times and the wiring 3 times. Each time I had to purchase the VERY over priced paddles mi self and re-do the wiring. Manufacture told me to fix this issue to move the feeder indoors instead of on a 4 season porch. I finally just go fed up with spending money every two months on new paddles and parts for a already too pricey feeder that does not hold up. Just my experience.

Product worked great for about three years with exception of the portion control (I fixed that with a drop of super glue). Finally the controller and/or motor died, so I bought a new updated controller and a new motor.That's when things went wrong. I was sent the wrong motor. then I found out the email and phone number don't work!
