I had recently read about the health benefits of beneficial mushrooms and adaptogens but didn't want to take supplements so when I discovered these bars, I was anxious to try and so glad I did. This flavor is truly delicious and I ordered the remaining varieties (especially love the lemon/ginger). I feel these are healthy and healthful and highly recommend them.

I got these for a Vine product review because I was intrigued.Turns out they are actually quite good. They have a strong dark chocolate taste with essence of cherry. Unlike many bars out there these do not have the texture of dirt and kitty litter combined with sugar (ugg Cliff bars are like that). They are almost like the filling of fig newtons but thicker.They do not leave an after taste and are quite filling.I am giving them 4 stars because they are very high in calories at 180 per, although if you are using them as a meal replacement they would be good and also very good to have in the car, backpack, etc. in case of emergency. The price tag of $35.99 for 12 is just way to high. If these were around $12-$15 then it'd be more realistic.RECOMMEND if on sale!! They are filling and tasty.

It's unfortunate that this package arrived ripped to shreds (Amazon's fault), but individual packages were in good condition.That being said, these bars taste Great! I love the texture, moistness, and flavor. I received the chocolate cherry. Nice dark chocolate flavor, which isn't too sweet. Getting all these wholesome functional mushrooms in a bar with no weird sweeteners, only coconut sugar and dates, makes me happy! I will continue to buy these.

This is a great bar to take on a hike or camping. I like to keep things like this in the car especially during winter in case I break down or I need a quick snack. The texture is soft and the flavor is pretty good. These are packed with lots of great ingredients. When I was done eating one I felt better. My box did arrive completely damaged but the individual bars were fine.

I love Wise Bars and this new flavor doesn’t disappoint. What a wonderful delicious and healthy bar!

Not like I was expecting at all. A lot of other bars I've tried in this category were dry and didn't taste good. These were moist and flavorful and I definitely tasted the chocolate cherry. I have played around with all of the mushroom/adaptogen powders in the past and ended up deciding they weren't for me. I can't remember exactly what it was that turned me off from them but I think it was the low blood pressure issues I was having. I typically have low blood pressure and some of the mushrooms are known for lowering blood pressure, but I did not have any issues with these bars. But then again, I was not eating them everyday as I was when I was mixing adaptogens into my morning shakes. So just something to keep in mind as I know adaptogens can also interact with some medications or not be good if you have an autoimmune condition. Everyone is different though, so do your research. As far as these bars go, I would try them again in different flavors and recommend them to others whom I know use adaptogen mushrooms regularly. But as for me, I generally only purchase protein bars these days. If these had a higher protein content, I'd purchase, because they really do taste good.

The taste of these are fine. There is no noticeable cognitive benefit from consuming these mushroom bars, however. At least, nothing that could be easily registered. I wish they had some more protein in them, and then I might justify eating them on a more regular basis. Otherwise, this is an okay product but nothing to write home about!
