This is a very good deterrent to keep your bike from being stolen, I say deterrent because if someone really wants to steal something they will, this will just deter them from stealing yours.This is a heavy lock with a 3 foot chain length which is ample for me. The actual combination part is very large with large numbers and a 5-digit combination. The combination number wheels have a very solid rotation and have a satisfying click/clunk when you turn them, no guessing if the number is correctly aligned with these wheels.You can set your own combination by opening the lock and rotating a knob at the end into the set position, this also has a nice click when turning, set your own combination and the rotate the knob back. My one little niggle is I wish they would have highlighted the combination line with a different coloured plastic as it can be hard to see in low light conditions.Other than that though this is a solid chunky bike lock that would definitely make a potential thief think twice.I am impressed with the quality at this price level which at time of review £12.99 which makes it a bargain, but there is also a 30% voucher which makes it about £9, which in my opinion is a stupid price for something of this quality. Cap falls off. The lock doesn’t let me change the pin and the pins are difficult to move up and down. In few words it’s such a poor quality and poor functionality. I’d like a refund not worth money

This bike chain is 90cm long, has alloy steel chain links covered with a fabric sheath, a 5 digit combination lock, a zinc alloy lock cylinder (although most of the outer casing is plastic) and is waterproof and non rusting.Thoughtfully a small printed instruction manual is included with guidance on how to set the combination lock password numbers.Even thought this is a well made bike chain it is still an economy one and will only deter the opportunist bike thief. Anyone going out with the intention of steeling a bike would be able to cut through this chain with a compact set of bolt cutters quite easily and quickly. As with everything you have to weigh up how inconvenienced you would be if your bike got stolen. My bike is just a basic, unbranded cycle which is probably only worth about £100, so this chain is more than adequate to protect it. If my bike was worth £500 plus I would be looking for a chain that offered far more protection.This chain is ideal for my needs and provides a basic visual and mechanical deterrent and therefore I can recommend it to anyone who requires this basic level of protection.

The five number combination is really easy to alter, though the dials are a little stiff to turn. The dials are really clear to read and the whole thing feels robust and secureThe chain is covered in a thick nylon with the company logo and looks really smart.At £14.99, at time of review, for a heavy and functional chain lock, it's great value for money.

Nice solid bike lock, with the 7mm chain covered by a nylon cloth sleeve to prevent any damage to the item you are locking up.Decent length at 900mm long, the combination lock unit is good and solid, with large dials and easy to read numbers, with everything moving really freely. When the lock is engaged, it feels really solid. The chain itself is quite flexible, so can be folded up quite small when not in use. The alignment bar makes it easy to see where the code position is, the number wheels turn with a positive movement, so you know when you have turned a position.The combination setting procedure is easy following the instructions, a simple process not involving any tools. The ABS housing to the lock unit feels solid.Having a five number code increases the number of potential codes; overall this lock looks like it would be substantial enough to deter someone from trying to steal whatever it is securing.

I was interested in this chain lock by ZELENY as it featured a 5-digit combination (ca. common 4 digits) for better security.The chain arrived neatly packaged in a simple retail box together with a printed instructions leaflet.I liked:– The 7 mm diameter galvanised chain made of high-strength alloy steel– Durable scratch-free PVC Nylon fabric sheathing– The 90cm length which is just right for locking and transport– The large lock housing with x5 easy to read dials- Zinc Alloy lock pins for better durability– The secure method of resetting the combinationThis bike lock chain is as advertised but should be considered more of a deterrent and not an absolute lock.

L'avantage des antivols à combinaison permet de ne pas se soucier d'une éventuelle perte de clés. Un vélo électrique nécessite déjà une clé pour la batterie, inutile d'en rajouter. Selon la description cet antivol paraît convaincant pour la qualité de l'acier. Néanmoins, il est toujours utile de disposer aussi d'une alarme sonore. Mieux vaut plus que moins, vu que les vélos électriques ou pas électriques sont l'objet de bien de convoitises.

Ein simples und solides Schloss für wenig Geld.Dank der Ummantelung an der Kette, ist das Schloss schonend für den Fahrradrahmen. Mit dem Fünfstelligem Code ist dieses Schloss auch sicherer als die üblichen mit 4 Stellen. Mit ein paar Umdrehungen am Rahmen, sitzt das Schloss auch sicher und ist immer dabei. Dank des Individuellen einstellen des Codes, kann jeder seinen Code verwenden, den er am besten behält. Mit der Länge und Stabilität des Schlosses, kann man sicher auch größere Fahrzeuge wie Mofa oder Roller abschließen.Die Zahlen lassen sich auch leicht verdrehen und machen ebenfalls einen stabilen Eindruck.Ist definitiv die wenige Euros wert.

EDIT: Knapp zwei Wochen nach Ende der Rückgabefrist ist meinem Sohn die Kette vom Fahrradlenker gerutscht und zu Boden gefallen. Wie man auf dem Bild sehen kann, ist der Stift einfach abgebrochen. Es braucht also nicht viel Kraft um das Teil aufzubrechen.Ursprüngliche Rezension:Ich war überrascht, wie dünn die Kette in Natura dann doch wirkt. Ich glaube nicht, dass sie viel bringt, wenn wirklich jemand das Fahrrad haben will… Für den Preis allerdings kann man auch nicht viel erwarten, das ist schon klar.

je cherchais un antivol pour mon velo et on m'a conseillé ce modele car les modele en chaine sont les mieux resistant aux vols. il est assez lourd ce qui peut etre un gage de solidité. , pas besoin de clé le codefait l'affaire ! une bonne trouvaille.
