Women's Trek Ascent LR-W

First, I loved opening this box and seeing a great pair of VFFs. I've been wearing them for over 7 years and over time, the quality has gone down in my opinion. These were beautiful and well made...... but I always wear a 39. I went to the official VFF site and these had me in a 39 as well. These were just too small, and only by a small amount.I have had multiple VFFs before and measure these against my current pair and they are actually about the same length. The issue comes with how narrow these are, I'm pretty sure. The heel is 0.5-1 inch more narrow than my Bikila LS which is odd when barefoot/minimalist footwear is supposed to allow your foot to spread out and become wider. I'm pretty sure that if there was a bit more room in the heel and in the arch area it would be a much better fit for me personally. I don't wear wide shoes as a rule, but do not have a narrow foot.The way that they are made and the materials used don't have as much give or adjustability as other models. I'm afraid that a size larger, without being adjustable, would be too large.I hate to send these back as the eggplant is just beautiful, but no way I can walk in these. Very disappointed as these probably my favorite style of VFFs I've ever seen. Wishing for a bit more room in the heel and possibly a bit more adjustable with fit.

I'd never worn 5-toe shoes before but gave these a try. I have a wide foot (6.5 Wide, Women's) but have been wearing a B width because few, if any stores carry a women's wide shoe. As a result, I've devleoped a hammer toe, and my toes are squeezed together and crooked. Thought these might help my situation. They are so comfortable, light: almost feel like I'm going barefoot; with my feet protected!

I was surprised that this shoe was smaller. Vibram sizing seems very dependable and all previous Five Fingers I have ordered have been perfect this one was much smaller , think I would have had to order one or even 2 sizes larger. Had to send it back, otherwise a quality shoe.

I have several pair of vibrams and these are by far the best ones yet!! Love them!!!!

These Vibrams give a lot of arch support and are very comfy for someone with a narrow foot. Fit is exactly as expected. Love them!

Quality and design outstanding purchased to replace my old ones, however these were too small , I suspect a tweak in design and or sizing, so had to send back. Would recommend Vibram toe shoes though they are excellent!! Have purchased a bigger size and they are Fantastic.

Adoro queste scarpe nonostante ne abbia preso una misura più grande. Così ho risolto il dolore della mia fascite plantare cronica!!! Dalla casa alle passeggiate, eccellenti compagne di viaggio ! Usate su più sentieri ghiaiosi... Si percepisce appena la ghiaia ma la sensazione é unica.

Sehr schnelle Lieferung, Größe 39, Schuh passt grad so, hab ihn aber doch noch in 40 und 41 bestellt. Hab die 41 behalten. Rüchlieferung war super Service. Werde auch alle Weiteren zwei Nummern größer bestellen, da spannt das Material nicht so, hoffe, dass es dadurch länger hält. Laufen sich super, bin happy.

Ich habe dieses Modell in Grau und Pink (aus Leder). Beide Verianten sind gut. In der lilafarbenen Ausführung stimmt führt der Schuh meine Füße in eine unangenehme Abrollbewegung, Richtung X-Beine. Außerdem scheint der Schuh schmaler geschnitten zu sein. Die Farbe ist toll!

Die Schuhe sind optisch und von der Qualität her echt gut. Leider waren sie mir etwas zu groß. Ich hatte ein zweites Paar zur Auswahl bestellt und mich dann gegen diese entschieden.
