Not the simplest installation you ever attempted.
Thankfully, I am married to a handyman who is also an engineer. Since our black water, gray water, and fresh water tank indicators were seldom right, especially the black water one. We read lots of reviews and ordered these. Be forewarned. If you want to do a professional installation you will be putting in some hours. Lots of them. And you had better be willing to read each and every word and caption two of three times before you begin. Thankfully he started with the fresh water tank sensor since the tank is inside the kitchen cabinet. It is now reading accurately. Tomorrow he tackles the two underneath the camper. If you don't totally know what you are doing when it comes to cutting up wiring harnesses and putting them back together again, don't tackle this project yourself. Pay a professional to install it for you. The product seems to be. I'll revisit this review several months from now and see if it gained or lost a star.

Easy install, my bounder had plugs going to the tanks so I just cut the plug off the old wiring and spliced it to the new strip. One strip on my gray tank did not function. I swapped it with the black tank strip (same size tank) and that worked in that position also. Ordered replacement from manufacture and that one worked also. The whole assembly cost $185.00 a good price until I had to pay $95.00 for the one strip replacement, hence the 4 star rating.

Best upgrade so far
Awesome upgrade to the Motorhome. I had the Empty, 1/3, 2/3, Full gauges, and didn't care for them at all, even when they worked. Then, the propane started reading full all the time on the inside panel, but read fine on the outside panel. That told me the in circuit board on the inside panel was probably bad. Next thing I know, the black tank started reading 2/3rds full on both panels. Probably dirty or bad sensors. When the same thing started happening to the grey tank I was done. Found this little gem. Easy to install, so long as you can get to your tanks relatively easily and best of all, very, very accurate. The grey and black tanks both read in 4% increments and the fresh, because it's a little shorter, read in 5% increments. You have to trim the sensors to fit the tanks. They give you demarcated places to cut with a pair of scissors and I had to trim off two sections for the black and grey tanks, 3 sections for the fresh. So it makes sense that the black and grey would measure 4% at a time and the fresh would be 5%. Shorter sensor = less resolution. Still, 5% is a heck of a lot better than 0%, 33%, 66% or 100%! I can flush the toilet and watch the gauge pop up by 4% every time. Run the sink for a minute or two and watch the grey tank slowly increase 4% at a time. Very, very awesome to know exactly where your fluid levels are all the time! Battery voltage is a huge plus as well as my old gauge only showed low, fair, good and charging. Nice to know exactly where the voltage is. Highly recommended. Great product. I've only had them on for a few days, I'll update my review if I have any problems over the next year. If the manufacturer reads this, the only thing I would recommend as an upgrade is maybe install a settable audible alarm for fluid and/or voltage levels? Man that would be cool! I'd buy that in a heartbeat and move this display to my outside plumbing cabinet.

This is a wonderful product, we love the fact we know the exact percentage of tank levels no more wondering or guessing anymore
I replaced this unit in my RV to replace the sensors inside the tank that came with my RV and were never really right. Now with this See level unit everything is readable as to where the tank levels are. Now their is no more guessing as to when we are almost full we know for sure the percentage. How empty the fresh water tank is or how full the black or gray tanks are. Plus the propane. For me since I dry camp at times. its nice to be sure and this also allows us to conserve because we know every percentage of tank levels rather then the standard sensors I used to have where I only got readings when they worked in thirds. To wire the unit you reuse one of the old sensor and ground to chassis. ( Its important the grounds are all to the chassis to get a true ground reading. I thought for one sensor to just you a ground wire and it made things not read right f in monitor, so use a solid ground.. I didnt cut any wires off old sensors till I got the unit working. I had to find the original wires to the original monitor by color. Once I identified them then I would connect them to the new monitor. once everything worked fine. Then I cut off all the wires off the old tank sensors. It really was not that hard and the wiring is really easy with this system. We love the fact of knowing for sure our tank levels.

I'm anxious to use this in the future!
I have to explain my single star review, because it won't let me give a review for something I returned (through no fault of the device). Our tanks are too shallow to be able to use the sensor strips, but I was so enthusiastic about using this product prior to the determination that it wouldn't work. If I ever have an RV that will accommodate this system, I will install it. It makes RV life so much easier. It's a guessing game using the current 1/3 full 2/3 full system. I hate that. Sorry I couldn't use it!

Excellent concept, well implemented
Bought this shortly after buying a new trailer. It had the near useless probe sensors that read incorrectly almost immediately. Installed the SeeLevel over a weekend. Hardest part was wiring the water pump, required a relay switch, amd there was no figure to show how to do this in the instructions. My only gripe, but not enough to drop from 5 stars. Loved having level readings in every tank plus the water pump and system voltage all in a compact display. A dremel tool let me mount the display right over where the POS original tank idiot lights were located. One tip: Measure the depth of your tanks before you order. Mine were shallow where I needed the shallow "JS" sensors. You can order these rather than the standard size by leaving a comment when you order the unit.I say "loved it"... Trailer was destroyed by Hurricane Harvey. So now I get the "fun" of buying and installing another SeeLevel in the new trailer. Glad I kept my wiring diagrams. Should take less time this go-around.
