Will Restore Your Faith in the Power of Filmmaking and in Your Fellow Man
Wow. I stumbled across Mully by accident while homebound with Covid recently and I am amazed. Amazed I'd never heard of it - I'm a Christian and a pastor and movies with a significant faith element are often times brought to my attention by advertisers and colleagues. Amazed too by the sheer force of power and beauty in the true story it tells. You probably know the basic premise of the story about Charles Mully, who was abandoned as a child in a remote Kenyan village and subsequently grew up a street beggar. Thanks to the kindness of several people, he became a Christian and started believing God might be able to do something with his life. He was given a job as essentially a housekeeper and worked his way up to farm manager for his employer. An entrepreneurial spirit emerged and Mully eventually became a very wealthy businessman with numerous ventures under his control. He married, had 8 children, and found himself living the kind of life he would never have dreamed of - wanting and lacking nothing, traveling the world, and blessed with a wonderful family. One fateful day, God spoke to Mully and called him to give away everything in order to help and serve Kenyan orphans and street children. He did, and the movie details the whole glorious story.Mully is not any kind of technical achievement in film, nor is it creative or groundbreaking in its craft. It's simply a straightforward and loving presentation of a story that needs no technical assistance or artistic flair because it is so powerful at its face. Watch and marvel at the power of God to use the most broken and unlikely figure to help bring redemption and rescue to tens of thousands of others that no one else cared to reach. Mully is at times nearly overwhelming emotionally and it will make in impact that lasts long after the credits roll. Thank God that there are people out there willing to make a film like this, one that will restore your faith in the power of good storytelling and that will restore your faith in mankind. Simply amazing.

If you do not believe in God, watch this film!
There is no way in the world that one man could have achieved this much in his young life without the help of the Lord! Use me, Lord. Daddy Mully dreamed big and with that dream, was a purpose and with that purpose was the vision from God to make a difference in Africa. I am so inspired by someone that is selfless. This film has the best positive message I have ever seen in my life! Showed me the love God has for all of us and that if we believe in him we do not need anyone else. I always feel better when I give so I totally understood the message. There are so many resources in this world (for everyone) that there should never be poverty. The solution to stop poverty is right in this film. Daddy Mully's perseverance and the help from his obedient children are the perfect examples of unconditional love for family. I also want to applaud his nurturing, strong, and beautiful loving wife for standing by his side and believing in his vision as well. She saw the spirit in him. This man is an angel! The Lord chose him to save others. Those that he saved helped in his dream, which made this a perfect circle! Teamwork at its best within a family. We really do need each other and if we work hard the Lord will always provide. Putting this movie on repeat when I start complaining or feeling sorry for myself. You are right Mully, your reward is right there in heaven and I am in awe of you and your compassion for others that help inspire them to stand with you. You are doing God's work and you do not need to work for anyone but him. Thank you, Jesus, for this angel. I will pray for more on this earth like him to help save Africa and all over the world! AMEN!

Uplifting! I Needed This Movie TODAY!!
I was feeling frustrated this morning with not hearing from my former employer who was supposed to send my employment verification forms for my state and my national certification in my chosen career field. I was upset that they had not sent the verification despite having more than enough time to do so. But, I was not surprised as their lack of organization is why I quit.I set aside that problem and started to watch this film--almost by accident--and soon became engrossed in the story and Mr. Mully's vision for the children of Kenya. I knew while watching that I can do anything with my life. I don't need my former employer to decide my value to the world by signing a small piece of paper because I have always worked very hard...and everyone who has ever worked with me knows this and knows I am a determined person. We need films like, "Mully," because too many people give up on their dreams at the first sign of hardship or upon meeting people who do not have the same vision. It doesn't mean we should give up on our dreams. It just means those people were small-minded people or perhaps did not happen to share our goals. Those who wish to help others will find like-minded people to work with. After watching this uplifting film, something told me to check the state and national certification web sites in my career field. I saw that I can send documentation and proof of employment based on my own documentation and do not have to rely on that organization to determine my future. I will have no problems.Don't give up on your dreams if you hope to do good in the world and meet what seems like an obstacle. The universe will guide those who maintain a noble vision if it is one that benefits others or creates a better world even in ways that may seem small.

Quite inspiring especially for the younger generation
Mully is like God’s true son. He believed and followed his heart and did what Jesus would do.

Mully heard the Lords voice and followed Him!
This movie is one unique story on how a man follows the Lords voice and not his own desires. This is a meaning of what the Bible says is true love. May many learn from Mully, his strong wife and children. The wife had an important role because I’m sure that without her Mully wouldn’t have been able to do it alone, they worked as a team. The biggest lesson is seeking Jesus Christ and letting Him use you how you were meant to be used. Everyone has a unique and important calling in the world!Jesus loves you!

True story
This is worth watching. I always love to get true stories and this one is remarkable. From a poor orphan boy to a very rich man and then giving up his riches to help children who are orphans.

Very positive message and good insights into Kenya.
It showed what it is really like for the poor and orphans. Showed what can be done by caring Christian people. Excellent message and great to show our privileged overindulged kids in the Western world.
