A Fun, Budget-Friendly Monster Truck DIY Kit
I got the BLADEZ Hot Wheels Monster Truck Maker Kitz for my son, and it’s been a fun little activity for us. The kit includes all the parts needed to build a pull-back monster truck, complete with snap-fit assembly and no need for glue or scissors, which makes it quite kid-friendly.While the concept is fantastic, I did find that some of the parts were a bit fiddly to assemble, especially the cardboard shell. My son needed my help to get it all together, and I think the recommended age of 6+ is fair, though younger kids will likely require assistance.Once built, the truck is lightweight but has decent pull-back action, which my son enjoyed. It also includes a small cardboard ramp for stunts, which adds an extra layer of fun.The final product isn’t the sturdiest and feels a bit like a cracker toy in terms of quality, but for the price, it’s a good little stocking filler or party bag item. The fun is really in the building process and the satisfaction of making the truck yourself. It’s an enjoyable hands-on activity that doesn’t break the bank! How I rate the products:5 stars: Performs perfectly, as advertised, and exceeds expectations in quality, functionality, or presentation.4 stars: Works well but may have minor flaws, slight deviations from the description, or issues with packaging. Still a good purchase.3 stars: Adequate product that works but lacks standout features or quality. Feels average in performance or design.2 stars: Subpar product with noticeable flaws, poor quality, or questionable durability. Usable but disappointing.1 star: Arrived broken, unusable, or completely fails to meet its intended purpose.

Easy to assemble and really good motor action
This actually surprised me. I expected a cheap cardboard frame with a fairly basic pull back motor... however, the frame is quite good quality, assembles easily and is incredibly sturdy. The pull back motor is actually really good... the car shoots off much quicker than I expected it to. My 5 year old son absolutely loves it and has been playing with it constantly doing jumps off ramps for weeks now. Amazing despite my initial misguided misgivings.

Build your own hot wheels
This hot wheels toy is a self assembly kit and it has plastic pieces and stickers that connect together to make the shell of the car. It is mess free as there is no glue required. It is a well priced set, and made a nice craft kit for my son.

Lightweight plastic toy
I ordered this for my eight year old nephew as he loves Hot Wheels cars. It is easy for an adult to assemble just by following the instructions, clipping the pieces together and affixing the stickers. I was disappointed with the end result of a lightweight plastic monster truck that is closer to a toy coming out of a Christmas cracker than the Hot Wheels cars that I am more familiar with. I received this as a trial item on Amazon Vine but would not pay £3.99 for it.

Make your own hot wheels car
This is a good value little kit which allows you to build a little hot wheels monster truck. Once built the monster truck is on ne that you can pull back and it drives forward automatically.I got this for my 5 year old son. But it was too fiddly for him to build. I had to build it for him. It's probably better suited to a kid around 8/9 but even they may struggle to get the cardboard shell to clip into place as it is really fiddly and took me a few attempts. The kit involves pushing some plastic bits together, sticking stickers on, clipping in the wheels and folding a cardboard shell and clipping it into place. It's a quick build and I think for the overall price the outcome is pretty satisfying. This kit would make a nice party bag filler.

Mini Hot Wheels Monster Truck
This DIY Mini Hot Wheels Monster Truck offers excellent value and makes a fun, affordable stocking filler. The plastic pieces easily pop out and are ready for quick assembly. While it's simple to construct, younger children might need a little help with popping the pieces out. Once built, the truck features pull-back action, zooming along at impressive speed, and looks fantastic. The ad also mentions other designs in this range, so you can expand your collection if you choose. Overall, it's a great DIY toy at a pocket-friendly price, and I highly recommend it.
