Excellent stain remover, great for toddler nappy leakages
Vanish is always on my shopping list. I wouldn't run a wash without adding it. I wash all the family's clothes in together, including my 2-year old's dirty pyjamas from when he has night-time nappy leakages, and it gets all the marks out of the fabrics.This particular version is the premium stain remover, it's exceptionally good at removing protein based stains such as sweat, toddler poo or blood. Most of my fabrics are cotton or cotton/polyester mixes and it works very well indeed on those.I also tend to run my machine on a 40 degrees short wash cycle and even in a short wash the powder works very well. (I also always make sure the drum isn't over-filled to make sure that all the clothes can be washed and rinsed properly on a short cycle, this is especially important if your family has sensitive skin).It has a light fragrance but it's not too strong and a big tub like this last me about 6 weeks and I probably run about 7-8 loads of washing a week.5 stars.

Something I always add to a wash since the adverts.
I like most people bought into the whole Vanish hype after the TV ads showed its amazing cleaning with no scrubbing power.Over the years Vanish has released newer "better cleaning" products and even though I know all to well I am being coned I have bought into the con and tend to upgrade to the more expensive "better" item.To clarify, The con is the original was weakened so they can bring out Gold then Gold was weakened so they could bring out Platinum.Regardless of the con, Vanish is a fantastic product that works I wouldn't be without it.Is it worth upgrading, I'm not sure but on subscription with Amazon I have found I can often get Platinum cheaper than the original vanish so I buy it.I use my washing powder 1 scoop of Vanish whites or colours, and 1 scoop of Soda crystals and the results are great.I have never had any issues with staining or tainting from using Vanish

Best stain remover ever
I use this in every wash whites and colour wash and darks never had a problem since with washing being stained or not looking great. My washing is always perfecti wouldn’t be without this product.

No longer value for money
Bought this in July 2021 and it cost £8.00 which for Platinum Vanish 1.41kg was a good deal. Now 2 months later the price has been ramped up to £13.89, that's 73% up on the July price. I've since bought Vanish gold which works equally as well and is still £8.00 for the same amount of product. Platinum Vanish isn't worth the money.
