Venum Predator Standup Shinguards

My shins were getting hammered during sparring and I am not cage fighting. After much research, I settled on these because these weren’t as expensive as top of the line, but better than cheaper slip on pads.Pro-these don’t move once strapped in-I can take a really hard hit and i don’t feel any pain-these are easy and quick to put onCon-the instep while providing great protection for the tops of my feet, interferes with my little toe. This could be me unconsciously trying to compensate for the instep part.Honestly, if Venom made the same setup without the instep, I would prefer that.If you want a good shin guard, this will do the job nicely.

Venum has some of the coolest designs for MMA gear and this is no exception! Not only is it stylish, it is also incredibly durable which is crucial for any sparring training. I only put a 4 for the “light weight” category because these are supposed to be sturdy so they’re not going to feel light like the less durable ones. It has the necessary padding which adds some weight to it. However, I got used to how it feels really fast and barely noticed it after a while. Also, it never became a problem of maneuverability and I was always able to follow proper technique.

I have used various shin guards throughout the years and these are the best guards I have ever used. I have used them in daily sparring sessions and no issues. Yes, you are paying a little more money but you are receiving a better quality product. They are comfortable, durable, sturdy, light weight and protects your foot and shin. If you are seeking a shin guard that meets the standards I discussed then this is your item. Side note - I am a customer like you and I have no affiliation to the company.

These are extremely lightweight and good for individuals over 6 foot . Other shin guards barely made it over half of my shin although these make it to my knees . Not too hard or soft so you can definitely feel kicks . More like competition shinguards versus more resistant ones from Fairtex.

I use these when going all out and they really hold up. Whether throwing heavy leg kicks or eating them I would feel zero pain. A must for training. Very reasonably priced and it's worth it for the injury reduction

Title says it all. Whether it's related to my height ( 5'9" ) or the shape of my admittedly stocky calves, the upper several inches of the guard simply refuses to sit sung to my leg. Nut sure if it's in the nature of the design of the product or my body. However, that's the only knock. Otherwise, they're comfy, super-durable, lightweight, and provide excellent protection even in shin-to-shin contact. If only Anderson Silva'd been wearing a pair...

Amazing shin guards. I train Muay Thai 6 days a week and have been using these for the past 3 months and they’re amazing. Super light weight, practically feels like nothing is on. They stay in position well, and the straps are nice and sturdy. Venum definitely did these right 👌🏼

The protect my feet and shin perfect.I am 5’6” and they seem a lil big.The look amazing. So good.They’re super light also.
