Pic 1, as received. Pic 2 is what's included, and 3 is directions (not much, but useful). Pic 4 is the cutter for when you mess up, and have to remove, it to do it again. Pic 5 is the actual working tool. Pic 6 is a demo run on excess 4-conductor solid telephone wire. Pic 7 neatly done, tightened and trimmed. Pic 8 is testing the cutters - requires some force as it is not a compound cutter, but it really shouldn't be used very much since in pic 8 is the removal tool that works very simply and very well. Pic 9 is my very large hands fit in their safety gloves (use them, as getting your hands sliced by these stainless steel ties is no joke!If you need to bundle a large number of cables, or outdoor use, or really need it secure - BUY THIS! It is really good. Wonderful that refills are sold separately. While plastic zip ties are OK for temporary use, and the ones with metal locking tooth in the head are even stronger, these stainless ones are truly PERMANENT!

I needed to put up a fence to keep our dogs away from our neighbors chickens. I’m using T posts and wire fencing. They come with special clips to attach the fence to the posts but it can be difficult to hold the fence and attach the clips. I tried using plastic zip ties as a temporary way to hold the fence but I knew they wouldn’t last. Using the stainless ones creates a permanent attachment and using the cable tie gun made it a snap to tighten and cut off the excess. I can’t believe how much time this has saved me and yet it looks great when finished.

A tool that you need for affixing items long term outdoors, automotive or in hard to get to places where a plastic zip tie just won't hold up season after season.The tool is easy to use and comes with 150 - SS 304 ties (50 each ~7.5/11.5/15.5"). The shears are sharp and cut the ties like butter.The case could be a bit larger, but it all fits snugly. My hands are large for the gloves, so I ditched them.This is something you don't think you require or will use until you have one.

I only tried the main tie gun, not the other tools that come with it.The bag is just average in quality.. Not great.. It would work fine for carrying the stuff, but it will not hold up to a lot of heavy wear.. I used one to tie a reflector to a pole.. You can see how cleanly it cut the extra strap off so it does not leave extra hanging there.I have used these before, and this one works just as good as the one that I have been using.. I got this one as a spare, just in case something happens to my other one.. After all, like they say, things tend to break while using them, not when it is most convenient for you to replace them.. and it is not like I can get one of these locally.. So better to have a backup.

I had been using the thick plastic ties to fix my chain link fence to the poles, however the ties only last a year or two before they break. I decided to try the Stainless Steel ties as I repair the broken plastic ties, so I ordered the DAU set of assorted stainless steel ties, special fastening gun, SS tie cutter, and tie removal tool. I really appreciate the included gloves to protect the hand I pull the tie tight with, as these ties can be sharp, and the heavy duty zippered storage pouch is a nice added touch. I tested by replacing a broken plastic tie, and using the fastening tool to pull the cable tie tight, while I flipped up the cutting lever which easily snips the excess steel tie off short.Tugging very hard proved the tie is holding fast. I am very pleased with this set as it seems they though of everything you might need to apply ties, release used ties, or cut ties to custom lengths, and storage! I am giving it a 4 star value rating, as everything seems great quality and it's reasonably economical.

It always feels wrong when a job has a bunch of plastic zip ties as it feels less permanent. This is the solution! This set has upped my zip tie game allowing me to really tighten things without worrying about the tie snapping all while feeling like a permanent solution.

This tool is a lifesaver for working with stainless zip ties. They’re always a pain to tighten all the way and really hardto cut. This tool snugs em up nice and tight with minimal effort and slices them clean and easy. Stainless zip ties are so useful for so many things but without these I always find it’s hard to get them applied and tightened up all the way so I usually find an alternative. With this you really are able to use them effectively, and I’d even say that arguably without it they’re really not very useful. Love this and highly recommend it.

I've been using metal zip ties in the open field where there's lots of sun. Plastic ones will break after a few months. This tool makes the metal ties so much tighter vs doing it by hand. I used to use a pair of pliers but this tool can accomplish it with less efforts. It can also cut off the excess so everything looks tidy and neat.
