I’ve searched high and low for a good rubber base gel. I do this because I have weak and brittle nails. This gel has helped me apply a strong layer to my nails that lasts and doesn’t damage them. No topcoat. This is a one and done nail gel. You can paint with regular nail polish over it for a long lasting manicure and change it as much as you want. You wipe with acetone to remove the nail polish and the rubber base gel stays. This has allowed me to grow out my nails. Thick polish so you have to apply a small amount at a time, but once you get the hang of it, it’s very simple. Just don’t let it build up by the cuticle. Color is forgiving and very natural. I used a sparkle pink under it and it gives it just enough sparkle without being too overwhelming. I highly recommend!!

I love this builder gel sm it gives a lot of strength to my natural nails. Super easy to work with self levels nicely and rhe colors are super pretty and sheer.

I've been using this rubber base gel for a while and I love it! I have trouble with longevity sometimes but I think it has to do with how I prep my nails. I love how this is still a soft gel but helps your nails grow. I've only gotten one color, which is the shade natural and sheerness really depends on how thick you apply the gel and how many layers. There's definitely a learning curve when using this since it is super thick. I'm still learning but have gotten better with each use!

So, I cannot speak to the longevity of this product, as I just got it yesterday. BUT!! It’s so easy to apply! I freakin’ love it. I took my acrylics off and my nails have been so brittle and thin. Bending backwards and breaking below the quick. I wanted something to protect them, and TikTok kept mentioning rubber base gel coats. This one is so easy to use.To prep, I lightly buffed my nails to remove the shine, used a cotton pad with 91% rubbing alcohol to dehydrate, and used the primer you buy at Sally’s by No Lift Nails.With this product, I painted on a thin coat and cured it. Then went back and added a little blob to each nail and made sure to spread to each edge of my nail. Then flipped my hand upside down for about 10 secs to get the apex the way I wanted it and cured it. I cured it a couple times. Then I used my regular gel polish to top it. No filing! I love that it self levels because it came out perfectly smooth without spending so much time filing. If you leave it as is, of course it will be sticky. It’s a base coat. If you like the color as, just pick up a gel top coat to finish it.

it's a pretty color, the consistency just got clumpy after a few uses, i'm not sure if it's user error but it makes it harder to work with. there is also a pretty mean heat spike so be careful! it stays on pretty well though

I bought the color "natural" trying to grow out my nails so I thought I'd give this rubber base a thought after hearing so many good things! Perfectly pleased so far! I prepped my nails, amd then used modelones dehydrator and Mia's secret nail primer. Then added a thin layer of base gel and cured for 2 minutes, then another thin layer and cured again for 2 minutes. I opted not to use a top coat, so the top of the polish was sticky. I just used a cotton ball with alcohol and wiped it off! Nails are hard and no longer sticky. Works as described. Will update if that changes. Thank you!

I almost love this!The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is that the product is pretty thin/runny which makes it a bit hard to work with as a builder gel product.But, despite that, this product is great. Pretty easy to apply and is effective.I've been using the Beetle's builder gel and have had issues with it lifting after 1 day. I'm on day 7 with this one and have no lifting at all! This is the first product I've found that doesn't lift after a day or two.Highly recommend it if you're looking for a good builder gel. A bit of a learning curve, but once you work with it enough it's not too hard.

The media could not be loaded. I read so many bad reviews of this product, but I decided to give it a try and I'm happily surprised. I'm taking classes with a nail tech and the answer on why the top is "sticky," it's because it is a "base" it's made to have another product at the top, either color gel or a top coat. And yes IT NEEDS TO BE CURED BY A UV LAMP, depending on the strength of your lamp it might take longer (I have a 30W lamp and it takes 90s to completely cure). It is thick but if not cured nail by nail the shape done might deform if you don't have enough experience.Despite that, I'm very happy with this product and I might buy it again.(I bought the clear one and I have nail polish and top coat on)

I really like this product, I did not expect that good quality and cool colors

New to doing my nails myself as my cuticles will show! This was great as a first attempt at builder gel. Sets quick and easy to file and shape. I would say it's rather gloopy which makes it a little hard to get a droplet for the application easily. I will try another brand to find one more manageable. Maybe it's because it's rubber based. Beautiful colour. If it lasts I will buy again even so! Practice makes perfect!

doesn’t lift

I normally use BIAB but saw this so thought I'd try it for the price and it. is. amazing. Worked so well for doing my own infills on my gel nails. Smooth application, the thickness makes it easy to apply and move around the nail. Lovely colour too (pink rose) pictures are with and without flash!
