loft stairs
These are perfect for what we required as we only have a small opening into the loft room. They look attractive too. Made of pine, and fairly solid.

It's a loft ladder
Loft conversion nearly completeWindow's fitted, floor down and still using a folding loft ladder that blocks the corridor...next step clear that corridor and fit a proper loft ladder.Second bedroom had a built in cupboard, 1960s build so when I say 'build' I'm talking 2" X 4" timbers and plasterboard panelling which had to be removed to gain access from landing. Cupboard was 60cm deep so a stair width of 60cm is possible. I measured where joists were and soon realised that I needed a fairly steep slope to fit the ladder. Hopefully this ladder with space saving treads fits the bill.I ordered this ladder and for a while it lay still boxed up in my stairwell until eventually the 60s style cupboard was cleared. Recently I opened the box and to be honest I was surprised with the excellent quality of product hidden away for some time. Unfinished wood, not painted, but really smooth and a nice wooden look about it. The cut out for the steps very professionally done and the steps well finished. This is a work in progress currently and you will need basic DIY skills to assemble this and cut to size if required. You do need to have the skills to remove beams in the loft floor without any disastrous experiences to allow access for this ladder into the loft or you may simply be replacing an existing folding ladder for a more permanent one but whatever your particular task this ladder is an inexpensive but good quality option but do your homework work out angles etc to see if this is suited.Looks like the extra homework time has paid off. A dry run fitting confirmed this is exact for my purpose and so so far I'm impressed and thoroughly recommend this product.
