It doesn’t add all that much bulk to the phone and the case has a nice, grippy texture.When I first installed it, I struggled to get it on. Because there’s a battery inside, I was cautious about bending the case too much. Even though the case was hard to install, at least I know it won’t come off easily.The case doesn’t interfere with the charging ports. I can still use my upright phone stand on my desk with this case on, the phone just sits a bit further forward than it otherwise would.Since the battery is flat and takes up most of the back, having the case on doesn’t really interfere with using the phone flat on a table.The case fully covers the back, so if your phone doesn’t match the colour of the case, you can’t really see it.The LED light indicators are very handy to see the battery level. When plugged in for charging, it charges the phone first, then the battery pack. The battery pack can’t be charged without the phone. And having the battery pack installed means you can’t wirelessly charge the phone or battery pack.It says that this case isn’t waterproof. However, I used isopropyl alcohol to clean my phone/case every so often and neither the case nor the battery has been damaged by being sprayed with the alcohol. So I think it’s ok to be “splashed” but wouldn’t handle being dropped in water.I’ve not used the glass screen protector since I already had one installed on my phone. But it seems like it’s average quality.The only consideration is that this adds about 130g of extra weight to the phone. The iPhone 16 Plus weighs about 200g, so it adds a reasonable amount of weight to the phone. I don’t hold my phone for long periods, so this doesn’t affect me too much, but it might be an issue for some.

At time of ordering this was priced at £36.99 for a 8500mAh battery.This is great value, the battery is large enough to fully charge the phone from flat and the case is sturdy and well made, as a bonus it also comes with a screen protector which is a nice touch.If you use your phone a lot for work like I do, this is a great way of keeping it charged on the go.

There is a time and a place for a battery case. For me that includes travel days (who wants to stop and charge in an airport) and hiking. In both cases having some extra juice is a very good idea.The case fits well. The top 1/3 or so is soft silicone and bends backward. That lets you slide the phone straight up and down onto the USB-C plug. Once in the case, all the buttons line up and the cutout over the camera control is easy to access.The case charges relatively quickly as long as you’re using a charging block that can handle it, and features a button with two functions. A quick press will turn on lights to let you know how much juice you have. A longer press will turn the charger on or off, so you’re not running the case down for no reason.Is this a daily case? For me no. By its nature, a battery case will block the MagSafe functionality. That means you are limited to wired charging and can’t do things like use a magnetic car holder or other accessories designed around that ring of magnets. But for long days outside or on a plane this is a great case and will be in my bag.

This comes decently packaged, along with a charging cord. I appreciate the careful directions about how to insert your phone into the case. However that part seems a bit too "bendable" and I do have concerns that it might break.The case itself feels a bit heavy and looks cheap, but it seems to be working well.For $40, I think it's overpriced by about $10-20 given battery storage size and features.

The media could not be loaded. This is a well made full body battery backup case for the iPhone 16 Pro. It fits fine. It is a little on the bulky side, but it has 8000mAh of backup juice, so it will easily last a day or so extra should your phone be drained of power. It has an on/off switch that you must hold for 3 seconds to turn on or off, which is good, so you don’t accidentally start a charge.
