MUXXN Women's 1950s Vintage 3/4 Sleeve Elegant Collar Cocktail Evening Dress

I ordered this dress for a baby shower and I received so many compliments on it. I first ordered the Large, but it was too loose. This dress has a lot of stretch! I ordered a medium and it fit like a glove! Not tight, just right! I am 5’7”, 155lbs, and have curvy figure. Measurements are 38-28-38. 36D bra size.The dress came about a 2 inches past my knee, and only accentuated my curves even more with a nice Silhouette! The Dark Blue is a true navy blue vs. the first one I ordered in Large that was more a royal blue, but called “Navy.” If you want that extra wow factor, wear a shaper underneath and you will see that sizing down was the best choice ever. You will be comfortable either way, but with a shaper, you look flawless. It doesn’t ride up like most dresses do on me due to my waist-to-hip ratio. It was perfect. Paired it with pearls and another belt I already owned for that Jackie-O look. The belt that comes with the dress is about an inch wide. It works and looks good, but I recommend wearing a thicker belt the color of your shoes, or simply one that matches the dress like I had for that extra style element. This dress is not only elegant, but it’s appropriate for all sorts of things like baby showers, weddings, extremely appropriate to wear to work, church, and even a date! After I got home from the baby shower, my boyfriend said, “You look amazing! I’m taking you to dinner to show you off!” FYI: I ordered 3 different styles of MUXXN brand dresses in large only to return for mediums. Even with my larger breasts, they all stretched so much and zipping them was incredibly easy. This brand of dresses seem to have the same material ratio, so there’s a lot of stretch ladies! Size down.

Light In the Box completely failed me. The dress I ordered for my baptism never arrived. I scrambled to find something suitable and this dress was available for next day shipping. It arrived on time and to my relief, fit me really well even though it’s a fitted design and I’m tall- 5’11. The material is stretchy and comfortable, but cheap and translucent. I had a difficult time finding a slip, which is a must in this dress. Any bit of lace detail or hardware on undergarments will show right through, so I recommend a simple, no frills, snug fitting, flesh toned slip. This may not be the dress for you if you require shape wear to feel good in dresses. This dress saved the day for me, though! I replaced the belt with a simple, jeweled bridal tie belt. I received a lot of compliments and I felt confident wearing it. Classy, elegant, and not so 1950’s style that it looks costumish.For reference, I’m a size 4-6, 5’11, 140 lbs, 32-34 C-d.

I bought 3 dresses from this brand. They fit perfect other than I had to shorten because I am very short and normally need petite length. I like my dresses right at the knee. These dresses fit like a glove, and they are made of a nice stretchy fabric . Since my job requires me getting in and out of a car all day I seldom wear dresses . Hard to be modest, when your dress rides up too far when you get out of the car or when you sit down and feel like they are to tight around your thighs . I am not a prude but at the same time I am a professional and want to look that way! These are comfortable, not too hot for a sunny day, show no cleavage and look classy and well fitted. I think this dress would be about twice the price at a regular dept store. I have dresses that cost much more , that do not fit and look as tailored as these do . So I say yes get this dress ! I think you will agree with me. It may not last for years but at this price, you can afford to buy another one !

I was pleasantly surprised at what a high quality dress this was for the price. Thick material with a lot of stretch. Based on their measurement chart, I should have ordered a large, but based on reviews I ordered down a size and it was still very big on me. I am sending it back and exchanging for a small. So I would advise ordering two sizes below measurements chart due to how stretchy the material is. The neck, shoulder with and sleeve length were all a little awkward on me, but I’m hoping the smaller size will fix that because the dress is so cute. I got the gray plaid and I love the pattern. I usually wear a medium and my bra size is 34DD.I don’t know if the one I got was an exception, but the tag is seen off center and very clearly shows with the large neck (see picture). I’m going to try to seem rip it out

According to the size chart for this dress, I was between two sizes. Because it is so fitted, I ordered the bigger size, and it fits like a glove from top to bottom. I love the stretchy material,I don't know what they call it, but I have had other clothes in the same fabric, and they have all been my favorites. The dress is meant to be very fitted, but the material has a lot of give, so it is somewhat forgiving. With that said, I don't think that it will look great if your bulges are on clear display, so if in doubt, I would recommend ordering up a size. This dress will pack well if traveling. The style is understated but extremely elegant, and it truly will never go out of style. Dress it up with a necklace and earrings. I bought it in navy, and will be wearing it to a wedding with red patent pumps and ruby jewelry. This is another amazing Amazon buy. I am in the middle of losing a lot of weight, and no dress fits me for long, so it is a pleasure to buy one so lovely for under $30!
