Great helmet, huge viewing area, light weight, comfortable
I love the newer technology and being able to see truer colors. The huge viewing area is awesome. My first welding helmet had a huge viewing area, but wasn't auto-darkening. My second helmet was auto-darkening, but was a very small viewing area. This view so huge, you can see everything. The rechargeable battery is also a great newer feature. The battery actually charges while you weld.Being able to use the same helmet when grinding is great too. The headgear feels very secure, but also very comfortable.I can't believe such a great helmet is such a good value.

2nd Time was a charm
Before I ordered this helmet, I already had a Yeswelder helmet ( clarity 1111) and an ARC Captain helmet (1111). I ordered this because the Yeswelder let in too much light and it fogs up alot. The Arc Captain helmet is great but the viewing area has be less tha 7 sq in...I wanted something that was between my Yeswelder and ARCCAPTAIN helmet. So when I saw this helmet it reminded me of the ESAB A50 and with the Optical clarity of 1111 and price, I had to try it out. Unfortunately, I had to order this helmet twice. My 1st experience was not so great. As some have stated in their reviews, they experienced arc flash and the auto darkening would work sometimes on their GT002-M ...this is unacceptable when welding especially TIG. You dont want to risk your eyes to a malfunctioning product. So I sent back the other one because I wanted to give it another shot because I loved the weight, clarity and other features of this helmet. The replacement helmet came quickly and I immediately charged the CR2450 battery until light was green. I didnt to that the 1st one. Once I did that, the test button would change each time. I welded a lot of TIG lines at 110 AMPS using ER70S-2 filler on steel with 3/32 gray tungsten rod. I could see the well pool VERY clear. The helmet worked awesome with setting on 12. The Auto darkening worked every time. I may give an update in few months to see how its holding up. I hope GOGonova does more research on why some helmets experience the auto darkening not working and glitches...you messing with peoples eye sight.Pros: Cost, Looks, Comfort, Optical Clarity of 1/1/1/1, True Color, Grind Mode, Rechargeable, good viewing screen, doesnt feel cheap, No fog issues, covers my headCons: Had to replace 1st helmet due to not functioning correctly. Helmet could raise more, does not stay up on head, replacement partsUPDATE: So I decided to see how the helmet would perform 24 hours later. I checked the lense and it Auto darkened how when I was tig welding Arc flash. ...im worried now. So I hit Grind mode, red light came for grind for 2 sec inside of helmet. Then I hit TEST button and screen flash with Auto Darkening (as it should) and started to well and it worked flawlessly. With most Auto darkening helmets ,the setting you set it should work. It seems with this helnet you you SHOULD TEST 1st then weld...which a step you shouldn't have to do. Gogonova R&D need to look into this. I still like it alot2nd Update: Its working like a Charm...no issues at all. I love this helmet

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
I have purchased two of these helmets in the past year and a half and both had the same issues. First is the arc flash issue that it seems is a common problem with this helmet. Not so noticeable when stick welding (SMAW) or MIG welding (GMAW) because each of these processes generates plenty of ultraviolet light to keep the helmet charged. When TIG welding (GTAW), there is less of a chance the helmet will get the sufficient amount of light to maintain battery level, so at random intervals it will start flashing like a strobe light while welding. This being so bright, by the time your eyesight recovers, your bead profile has already been compromised. The second issue I have encountered is that the headgear stripped out on both helmets and there are no replacements available, hence the reason I purchased a second helmet, which only lasted a handful of times before it also stripped. I tried using a generic version of headgear which didn’t work due to the proprietary build of the helmet. I contacted the company who apparently imports the helmets and after several days of emails they suggested I purchase yet another helmet. No Thanks, was my reply! You’re better served buying a “Hobart” helmet for around $80 that if you break a headgear you can purchase a replacement for around $10. Hobart is owned by the same parent company as Miller and have quality products. Sorry for the long review, hopefully it saves someone else from wasting their hard earned money on inferior products.

Cumplió las expectativas
Muy buena calidad, buen juego de sensibilidad y velocidad de oscurecimiento. Genial la facilidad de carga mediante cable. Recomendado 100%

bad adjustment.
Hood works fine and I love the large view. The adjustments to keep it folded up on your head then flipped down when ready to weld are not as they should be. The hood either falls down to easily or will not flip down at all. All it should take is a quick nod of the head. Just super annoying.

So far so good
I am in school working on my pipe cert right now so I'm using 6010 and 7018 stick in a booth. It's a controllerd environment which makes alot of things easy. What I can say is that the large viewing area is very nice. The auto darkening fearure is nice. There is nothing wrong with using newer technology especially when it makes you a better welder. This helmet has what you need to do well. You might as well buy a new set of 2450 batteries because whatever they give you with the helmet is garbage. The battery that came installed was almost dead so my window would not lighten anymore after the first 2 hours of welding. I swapped it out for the extra battery that they give you but that battery was completely dead. I put a brand new Duracell CR2450 and the auto-darkening feature now works very well. It's comfortable for the most part, they do give you a pad that you velcro to the back headpiece but I am going to have to add some leather or something to the top to stop any overhead light from filtering in and reflecting off of the viewing screen. the color is matte black and has decent lines. Next time I buy a helmet I will spend alot more and get more features like a coffee warmer...

Headgear doesn't hold setting
It would be a very good helmet if it would not lose the headgear setting. After only a few moves (raise / lower), the thing either falls right over your face, or just flies off your head when you try to lower it.
