First of all they are not made in "Nepal" as it says in the description, they are made in China. They are not all wool, they have a foam core. Within a day my cat shredded them and threw up the material. I believe these are cheap knock offs of another product.

The kittens love them, one a bit too much. Something about wool makes some cats and dogs want to devour it. My 1 year old cat ate quite a bit, ended up having to have emergency surgery to remove a blockage in his small intestine. The blockage was a wad of red wool from one of these balls. Complications from the surgery and I’m out $4,000, but at least kitty has recovered. They love the toy, maybe too much.

The balls I received have some wool felting wrapped around a white foam core. That is NOT 100% wool, the foam shreds, and it’s not sustainable! Do not buy this product, it’s a lie

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  These are felt covered styrofoam balls and not 100% wool felt balls! My bengal cat ripped one apart in less than a minute. I’m sure he enjoyed doing so but it can be potentially dangerous. If you aren’t present while your cat is doing this they could easily eat it and become ill. The product description is very misleading. Do not purchase these hazardous toys!!!

I feel like they could unravel and my cat could choke on the fabric.

I have one cat who wants cloth balls-- not a hard ball covered with a soft coating, not a ball with bells or rattles. Just a plain cloth ball. These are perfect for him and being made of 100% wool, are rather attractive as well. (Now if I just didn't have to keep getting them out from under the furniture.)

They're sturdy, quiet, and my cats enjoy chasing them which makes this purchase a cat enrichment success. I haven't seen any of them pick these up in their teeth like they do with their smaller, softer pom pom toys but these also seem less likely to fall apart or get lost. I poked at these for a bit after seeing one reviewer mention they were concerned about unraveling but the toys I received are very well felted wool (like when you accidentally put a wool sweater in the dryer and the yarn mats together). I don't predict these unraveling and becoming a hazard. The colors are pleasant and bright and there aren't any weird smells either. Overall, my cats and I are very happy with my purchase and I might be back to order more sets as holiday gifts for family with cats of their own.

My two kittens (11 weeks old) love these toys. They're big and easy to carry around with little mouths and claws. A big hit! I bout the multicolored pack and the green/blue/grey/orange swirl color pack. Both are very nice and consistently large in size. I also gave two to a friend's cats and one of her cats that doesn't normally like toys, really liked these balls! I like them because they are very quiet compared to many cat balls.
