It's not for me, but maybe it's for you?
Yikes. I don't know what this stuff is supposed to taste like, so I'm trying to give it the benefit of the doubt. I love the taste of pistachios, pistachio flavor, etc. But to me, this tastes like greasy dirt. Yuck. And like natural peanut butter, it separates a bit into chunk and grease - and is green, of course - so it's unappealing to look at anyway. I was able to get over that, though, thinking that it would be very tasty. But yuck, man, I don't know. I was going to cook with it, but knowing what it tastes like by itself makes me not want to put it in anything, lest I may have to throw that concoction out. I tossed it in the refrigerator while I meditate on what its next stop may be.

Fore Dessert Making
I feel like this product is misunderstood. Pistachios are mainly thought of as savory in American and not common in desserts like they are in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. This nut butter is a SWEET nut butter. There is sugar added. Because of the confusion for Western buyers, this should be made clear in the product title.Unfortunately, my jar came open. I see this is a recurring problem. The seal was still on the jar but oil had leaked out over the labels and plastic wrap. The vacuum seal on the lid was popped. I did still want to try out the product.I do taste the pistachios and also the sweetness. There are many desserts that can be made with this, especially using phyllo pastry. It's an usual taste if you are not used to it but that's why it's best worked into recipes, of which you can find tons online.I'd suggest the manufacturer clarify the ingredients on the product page and title and also work on better packaging. Instead of bubble wrap, ship it in a box sized to fit and wrap the jar in honeycomb paper. It is far more protective and also eco-friendly.

The cream tastes like pistachios but is very sweet to me.
Mixyway Turkish %100 Pistachio Paste for Dubai Chocolate Bar (Lightly Sweetened) Pastry Pistachio Butter, Pistachio Spread for Knafeh Pistachio Cream For Baklava Kataifi Katmer and Breakfast in Glass Jar 8.8 OZ (250 gr) - Creamy Pistachio PasteFirst impressions: Smallish har full of green paste. The smell is of sweetness and pistachios.Installation/setup: Open jar and use it in recipes or eat with a spoon.Final thoughts: The cream tastes like pistachios but is very sweet to me. I got this to make a dessert I saw on Facebook. I just love pistachios in everything and this just sounded so good:Napoli Torrone Dei Morti Al Pistacchio (Naples Pistachio Torrone of the Dead)Ingredients5 ounces milk or dark chocolate, roughly chopped18 ounces white chocolate, roughly chopped14 ounces almond butter (if you can get white hazelnut cream, then use that)7 ounces pistachio creamgreen food coloring (optional)4 ounces pistachios, roughly choppedPreparationIn a microwave safe bowl melt the milk (or dark) chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until completely melted.Using a spoon or a brush, coat a small 9x5 silicone loaf pan with the chocolate, making sure to coat the pan as evenly as possible. Set onto a small baking sheet and transfer to the refrigerator. In another microwave-safe bowl melt the white chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until completely melted.Stir in the almond butter and pistachio cream. Stirring to get a homogeneous and smooth mixture. If you want more of a strong green color, you can add the coloring now.Let the mixture cool for 3 to 4 minutes. Fold in the pistachios.Retrieve the chocolate-lined silicone loaf pan from the refrigerator and pour the white-chocolate mixture into the pan, spreading to remove air bubbles and to make a smooth, even layer.Let the loaf chill in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours minimally (you can also let it chill overnight). When ready to serve, peel back the silicone loaf pan from the chocolate. You can serve as is or garnish with more chopped nuts.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

Pistachio Paste
I love pistachios and was looking forward to this but I just couldn't do it. Smell was off putting, not like I would expect pistachios to smell. The edges around where the lid was was discolored and crusty but the lid itself did seem to be sealed and had a plastic "safety seal" around it, and on top of that the jar was at most half full.

Leaking and smelly
Arrived leaking all over even though it's sealed outside. There is an odd smell on the outside leak, somewhat sour and old oil mixed together.Opening the jar there's a thick layer hardened pistachio paste on top (probably due to the oil leak).Due to all these issues, quality is low and value is low.

Strong smelling pistachio paste, and very sweet
As others have noted, this pistachio paste has a very strong smell. It's a beautiful vibrant green color, and the ingredients are great. It's just 75% pistachio and 25% cane sugar. The taste was actually nice but very sweet, and then you start to taste those same notes that give it the strong smell. It doesn't taste or smell exactly right, and that is coming from someone that really loves pistachios.Overall - it seems okay and the color is good, but with so many other good quality pistachio pastes out there, this would not be my first choice due to the strong smell of this one. I'm also not a fan of how much added sugar this pistachio paste has, but it would still likely work well for a filling in fancy desserts.

Smells rancid
This sounded tasty and arrived well wrapped. Unfortunately, it smells absolutely awful! I thought it smelled like overripe or rotten fruit, my husband thought worse - rotten fish. It definitely is extremely unpleasant. It has a label on top that says it's good through September 2025, but something clearly went wrong! As far as what I can observe about the product - the jar is larger than it appeared from the picture, but it's probably only 2/3 or so full. The label and product information definitely seems a bit sketchy. Maybe someone else will get a good jar, but from my experience, I would NOT recommend.
