My dog went quackers over these duck fillets!
I am highly impressed with this packet of Pack'n Pride air-dried duck fillets. The duck breast filters can either be given to your dog whole or easily ripped into smaller bits or chopped up into training treats (just make sure the chopped bits are suitable for the size of your dog). I love that the packet is resealable, which makes it not only easier to store the treats but also ensures that they are kept fresh (which also means my dog can't try and steal them!). Although the price point may seem a little high, in my opinion, it is quite reasonable as you get 200g, which is quite a lot of duck strips in the packet, but the duck content is 90%, so you are paying a bit extra for a better quality dog treat. My dog absolutely loved these duck fillets; they were very valuable to her, which made them great for rewards and training. My dog has a sensitive stomach, so I was really pleased to hear that these treats are grain-free and gluten-free. I love that they are also rawhide-free, as I don't allow my dog rawhide. I will definitely be looking at purchasing more in the future.

Natural treats, easy to tear into smaller pieces, they smell quite nice!
[I received this product for free, in exchange for an honest review, as part of the Amazon Vine programme. That being said, this review is NOT swayed by that, and (as always) contains only my real thoughts on the product; good and bad.]I requested the ‘PACK’N PRIDE Natural Dog Treats, 200 g Air-Dried Chicken Fillets, Low Fat Chicken Breast Jerky’ as a healthy snack for my dog.The jerky arrives in a resealable pack. The pieces are big but easy to tear into smaller portions. It is the first time my old dog has had jerky and she wasn’t quite sure what to do at first. She soon got the hang of it and really enjoys them. They smell quite nice, as dog treats go and it is reassuringly natural looking, better than lots of additives for older or sensitive stomachs. The price, at the time of this review, is £9.99, which is reasonable for this 200g pack, which will last my little dog quite some time. 5 stars.

Great quality natural treats
My dog absolutely loves these dog treats. They are all natural air dried treats so no nasty additives. My dog has a lot of allergies so having natural treats are something I never have to worry about affecting him. You get approx 8 large pieces of chicken in the bag. I have a large breed dog so he gets a full piece but they could easily be cup up for smaller dogs. Because they are air dried they aren't messy at all and there's no smell. Some people may find the price a bit high but other natural treats that are similar are around the same price. These are good quality treats so of course they are going to cost more.

Good quality
These are a good size treat chew and are a decent quality, not too dried out like some I've previously bought.I got 8 big pieces and 1 small in the bag.I am disappointed though to see that they are made in china and have a shelf life until 2026.But the ingredients do state 90% chicken. My dog loves these to chew on, and has digested them well, even though he has a sensitive stomach.I will give him one piece, once or twice a week.So this pack should last me a month at least.I think the price is probably a bit more expensive than I've paid before. But overall a good pack of chicken fillet chews that my dog likes.

Handy training treats when cut into morsels
I volunteer at a doggy rescue centre and some dogs need training before they can be rehoused. These treats are universally loved by the dogs there, which is great because dogs need to really love the treats to make training easier.I’ve cut these into bite-sized chunks (they are too hard to tear by hand), so I can give a little morsel as a reward for obeying the command. I do make these treats the sole reward for training and use “lesser” treats for general good behaviour. This helps the dogs separate “work” from play. They know that when it’s training time, they will get the really good stuff. These treats don’t have a pungent smell, so my hands don’t stink by the end of the day.The sealable bag is very handy for maintaining freshness. The only thing I would say is that it can be a bit too hard for older dogs or dogs with teeth/gum problems. I’ve had some dogs that couldn’t chew them. However, they will gladly eat a smaller piece whole.

Dog reaction - possibly the artificial sweetener
Both my dogs loved these duck dog treats to the point that they were driving us crackers by keep asking for them! They obviously are very tasty to dogs.We feed our dogs on a wet food. One type is duck based and the other turkey, which they have eaten for years so we know they tolerate duck fine. However, within a few hours of feeding these treats, one of my dogs became intensely itchy. We didn't make the connection immediately and continued to feed the treats the next day. The itching continued. Finally, the penny dropped for us and we stopped feeding the treats and the itching subsided.I've looked at the ingredients of the treats to try and figure out what the trigger could be. The ingredients are duck breast, vegetable protein, vegetable glycerin, tapioca starch, sorbitol and salt. Most of those ingredients are tolerated well by my dogs so I think it's possible it could be sorbitol as that is not in any of my dog’s usual main meals or regular treats. Sorbitol is an artificial sweetener.Dogs are like humans in that what one of us can eat things with no issues, another will have an intolerance to them. I'm not sure why the sorbitol and salt are included in the ingredients unless they are needed to keep the 'jerky' in a chewy state, but it is likely to be the ingredient not tolerated by my dog. My other dog is fine (and happy to discover they can finish off the packet!) so your dog may be fine too!

Far too nice
We have a much loved but very fussy dog when it comes to treats... she'll turn her nose up at the expensive stuff we've wasted our money on and go wild for pound shop cheapo treats. Not these. She LOVES them. Snarf wolf swallow yum beg beg beg.At £10 a packet there's no denying that this will be an expensive habit. But they're all natural, she loves them, and we love her. Damn.Recommended by Penny the Dog.
