Partially compatible with Ring…
Despite the description stating incompatibility with Ring battery devices…it will still charge the camera. I’m currently using it with the Ring Stick Up Cam Pro. The app will state that a solar panel is not connected, however the battery will still be charged.

Good small solar panel, not compatible with all outdoor cameras
. I am an Amazon Vine reviewer. I choose the items I want to review. I do receive them for free, in exchange for an HONEST review, though I pay taxes on all products. I am reviewing the4W Solar Panel for Security Camera, Solar Panel with Micro USB & USB-C Port for Rechargeable Battery Security Camera, Solar Panel Charger with 360° Adjustable Security Mount sold by the VUEBEE store. I chose this item to go with my Wzye Battery Pro camera, which is pertinent to this review, as the seller indicates that it is compatible with outdoor cameras. For some reason, this panel will not work with that camera. It works well to charge other items, such as my cell phone, smaller battery packs, and some of my smaller rechargeable lights. The solar panel is easy to mount and I definitely have use for it, just not the original reason I chose it. For the function of the solar panel, I give it 5 stars, with the above caveat. I hope this review helps and Happy Shopping!

Great solar charging panels
I ordered these solar charging panels for my outdoor security cameras that I frequently had to dismount to recharge the batteries. The USB-C cables are quite long so I was able to staple the cord pretty well hidden along the edges of my walls so that the panel itself is mounted in a location facing south. For optimum sunlight for solar, you should have it facing south, just the way roof panels are installed. I'm very impressed with them as they not only maintain my battery's capacity, it also charges them. I think other reviewers who've said it's not charging well have probably mounted them in poor locations, because these panels are great, and a lot of people do not understand that solar charging only works when it's exposed to maximum amount of time to direct sunlight.

Excellent
I bought this set of solar panels for one of my outdoor cameras, and I’m really impressed. I only needed one, but it’s nice to have a backup. Installation was super easy – it comes with all the screws and cable management pins you need. I just mounted it, connected the USB-C to the camera, and it was good to go. The adjustable mounts make it simple to position the panels for the best sunlight.Since setting it up, the panel has done a great job keeping the camera charged. I was expecting it to just maintain the battery level, not fully charge it while the camera was actively monitoring and recording. But I plugged it in when the battery was at 12%, and in a day, it went up to 25%, which really surprised me, because this was a bird feeder camera that was recording 10s clips every time a bird visits and we get a lot of birds on that feeder. The panels are sturdy and built to handle the weather. They have a small profile and look clean, unlike some of the bulkier ones I’ve seen from bigger brands.Overall, this has been a great addition to my outdoor security setup. It’s saved me the hassle of constantly charging the camera and ensures continuous surveillance of our property.

very little charging capacity
Don't know if my panels are defective or not, no way to test for voltage and current without specialized fixtures or cutting the wires. What I do know is that a 5volt 4 watt charger should put out .80 amps (voltage x current = watts). Allowing for inefficiencies of heat dissipation, that would mean a 2,000 milliamp hour battery (2 amp hours) should fully charge in direct sunlight in about 4 hours. After 2 days, I cannot get either panel to charge a battery of any size via the usb ports.

One out of 2 worked well
I ordered this for a couple of my exterior Arlo cameras. The installation was simple, and the cable is slim enough to easily tuck in and route around the house siding. One panel works flawlessly, effectively charging the camera and maintaining its charge. However, the second panel has not been functioning correctly. It indicates that it's charging the camera, but only begins to do so late in the afternoon or when I adjust the cable on the panel, and it doesn't provide the necessary charge when it does. Regrettably, I will have to replace this second panel. I'm uncertain if their being sold in pairs is the reason, but a 50% success rate is unsatisfactory for me. I hope this information is useful.
