Works well, not complaints.
This fanxiang DDR4 RAM 16GB kit x2 - is beyond me. However my Son was in the process of upgrading my Daughters computer for her so he begged me to order this item. It is installed and working just fine. Just because something has not got known brand name doesn't mean it isn't as good. All Brands started somewhere. They look the part for, and my Son was pleased with them. So for the Non- Professional DT people like me, I think that this 2 set memory Ram Kit does the Job just like any other of its calibre. It actually comes in very professional looking packaging, and the Ram Storage pieces themselves are quite impressively made too.

A Few Weeks In - Works Fine Without Issue, Beware Of Its Tall Heatsinks
My main PC is 'maxed out' with RAM (lucky me) so I used this on my older Zoostorm desktop (which supports 3200MHz) which my partner now uses.Installed and was recognised without issue, and Windows 10 (which he prefers) booted up normally.Must admit I'm nervous of unknown memory brands and this is not a competitive price at the moment compared to better-known names, so I will deduct a star for this.A few weeks after installation, all is well (waited a few weeks to add this review, just in case).Like other reviewers say, the tall heatsinks make this RAM unsuitable for SFF PCs without modification (partner used to have an SFF PC and everything was a bit of a squeeze / compromise).

Excellent for the money
I wanted to expand the RAM in my server but didn't want to break the bank. I opted to get this fanxiang RAM kit to give my server an extra 16GB of RAM. So far, they have proved to be flawless. Being a server it stays on 24/7 and this RAM hasn't caused any issues whatsoever. They were easy to install and the heat sink is a nice touch.I will admit that given I'd never heard of the brand, I didn't want to try them in my gaming rig in case it fried the motherboard or something, but given that my server is still up and running without any issues, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this brand again to use in a more expensive build.

CL22 being sold 'for gaming' is misleading, far too expensive for what it is given how cheap DDR4 is
The ram arrived in a nice box as is standard for products from fanxiang, visually the ram looks to be well made and they match the images well, the sticker on the back does omit several details that are normally present on ram sticks but i’ll talk about that later.I popped it into a B550 motherboard running a 5800X and it booted right up without any need to fiddle with the settings. The default profile for the ram set it at 1596.8Mhz for DRAM which is as expected (double for DDR ram), however the default timings for this leave a lot to be desired at the stock speed as its set to CL22. Timing concerns aside, the ram has performed just fine in the AMD test system without any stability issues or other unexpected issues for hours of continuous use.I’m not really sure what they’re going for with this ram, it's CL22 which they’ve conveniently left out from the product listing and product’s packaging and serial number sticker. This means it’s significantly slower timing-wise than the 16GB budget offerings from Corsair and some other brands, sure we’re talking nano-seconds of a difference but even still it represents a difference of about 37% when accessing data and they’re not being transparent about the specs in the listing. Specifically advertising it as ‘ideal for gaming’ is quite disingenuous as gaming is one of the specific environments that benefits most from lower timings and even budget gaming ram usually has CL16 timings. If they really wanted to market toward the strengths of CL22 ram then they really should be pointing toward data-heavy applications like video editing, virtual machines and other general-purpose computing tasks that aren’t timing critical like general productivity use and web browsing. On Amazon you can literally grab 16gb kits of vengeance DDR4 3200MHz CL16 from Corsair for a lower price than this stuff, even after applying the current voucher to the £35.99 price. If this stuff was significantly cheaper and I needed a bunch of ram for non-timing critical applications or budget setups, it’s actually not a horrible set of ram, but at this price and with the misleading advertising I can’t recommend this.

No Frills, No Issues
Despite being a brand I've never heard of, these seem pretty good. They appear to be co.pletely new RAM modules and have custom branded heat spreaders. They installed with no issues, and I've had no compatibility issues in my any of the PCs I tried these in ( I went round my office and tried a couple of our mainly dells, but some HPs as well of varying ages)I also tri d these in my AM4 system at home and they worked just fine at 3200, though they'll be staying in a secondary dell as that system runs faster RAM usually.RAM has become another point for RGB to sneak into PC builds and if you are not after that look this stuff will work well, it's got no markings on the top of the heat spreader at all, so if you have a window in a location where you can't see the sides of the ram, it's a nice clean black look.If these are fast enough for your system, or cheap enough to be good value at the time.of purchase. definitely consider them as they seems fine too me.

Seems alright and works though note value will decrease
If this came out a few years ago it'd be a good competitive price compared to other ddr4 ram of the time providing decent size and speed for its price (though note its not compatible in old ddr3 slots). Its still good nowadays for a variety of different things that you would need them for with the overall 16gb being decent unless you are hardcore gaming. Can seem a little outdated nowadays with the existence of DDR5 now being a thing with some brands selling those at a similar price and better speeds though if you acquire this its certainly not a bad thing. Would still be decently recommendable if you were to get this on a discount.

Not DDR4 3200
The memory is showing up as DDR4 2933, but there are no other issues so far.

Recipe Ready RAM
I recently installed some fanxiang DDR4 RAM (16GB, 2x8GB) in my computer. Now, this isn't your typical gaming machine – it's strictly for browsing recipes and keeping my kitchen adventures organized. So, while I can't speak to its performance for hardcore tasks, here's my take on this RAM for everyday use:Recipe Rocket? Not Quite, But Plenty Speedy:I didn't put this RAM through any fancy benchmarks, but for my needs, it's been perfectly adequate. Web pages load quickly, and flipping through recipes is smooth and snappy. For basic tasks like these, the 3200Mhz speed seems to do the trick.XMP FYI:Just a heads up to any gamers out there – this RAM doesn't have XMP (Extreme Memory Profile) support for overclocking. So, if you're a serious gamer squeezing every last drop of performance from your system, this might not be the best choice.Intel Compatibility Confirmed:The RAM itself does exactly what it says on the tin – it's compatible with Intel platforms. My computer recognized it right away, and installation was a breeze. Overall:If you're looking for a solid memory upgrade for a basic computer (like mine!), the fanxiang DDR4 RAM is a decent option. It provides a noticeable speed boost over lower memory configurations, and the price seems fair. However, if you're a gamer or need top-of-the-line performance with features like XMP, you might want to look elsewhere. Here's who I would recommend this for:People who need a memory upgrade for everyday computer tasks (web browsing, document editing, etc.).Users with Intel-based systems looking for a budget-friendly RAM option. Here's who I would not recommend this for:Gamers who require high-performance RAM with XMP support for overclocking.
