Well made, but a bit big.
Personally I find it too loud... not it's alarm, it's look..... it is simply to shouty "Hey Im an Alarm Clock!!!!!" It's big and brash, and some people would like that, I can imagine a lot of teenagers would love it, but I like quieter designs, and smaller units.Functionally it's fine, the lights can be turned down to zero, so it's adjustable in that regard. It is physically quite large, and I feel larger than it really needs to be, but again that's a personal taste thing.Having the phone charging ability will be useful for some people for sure.IF it appeals to you, design wise, it will be perfect for you I'm sure.

Lightweight
This was a brilliant Amazon find. I was in the market for a new alarm clock. However I wanted something that was more traditional but also modern. This one is fantastic it also charges my phone which saves me a plug socket. There is a multitude of different settings for this alarm clock however very basic it's exactly what I needed. You can set two different alarms at the same time, you can alter the backlight so you're not blinded in the middle of the night. The display itself is discrete but effective. Very very easy to use extremely easy to set up very lightweight also

Good clock with some aesthetic niggles
This is an interesting and somewhat quirky clock with some features I really like and some that bemuse me. It has a multi coloured number display, where the numbers occupy about 60% of the screen clock front. I do prefer those clocks where the time occupies a laregr part of the screen face. The clock itself is actually very simply to set up. It has battery back up. which does not keep the display on but just ensures time is kept when power is not supplied by the mains. It has a main plug (rather than USB) and uses a proprietary connection. I much prefer where USB-C is used with a USB connection to give options and this is a niggle for me.It has a summer time setting, which I have not seen before, that enables you to flip the time forward and backwards an hour when the clocks change at the touch of a button. I think that is a fantastic feature. When setting the alarm (you can set 2), you can choose the decibel level between 55 decibels and 95 decibels and it plays the sound at that level as you set it. Itโs a great idea to enable choosing volume this way.The colours used on the clock are fixed which is disappointing. Looking closely at the pictures of the clock they are the same but mostly with these coloured displays, you have a choice of colours and several rotating colour options. I was disappointed that was not the case with this clock. The clock face is mirrored which I personally do not like the look of this, though much less noticeable in a darkened room. There is a dimmer light for the display and a dimmable night light feature which is a nice touch.Overall I am little conflicted with this clock. Some well thought out features with for me some disappointing aesthetic choices. Overall it is good value for the quality of the clock.

I really wanted to like the ZAPALA Expert Multicolor Alarm Clock, but it just didn't work out. The setup was way more complicated than I expected. I found myself fumbling through the instructions, and even then, it was hard to get everything just right. The features sounded greatโlike the adjustable volume and dimmable displayโbut they only added to the confusion.I was hoping for a straightforward alarm clock, but instead, it felt like I was trying to operate a spaceship. Plus, the USB charging port is a nice touch, but it doesnโt make up for the hassle. If youโre looking for something simple, you might want to skip this one.

Good but the mirrored front idea is flawed
Found this easy to set up and initially I liked the pastel multicoloured display. There is a selectable light on the front and the display is easily dimmable. The alarm was very loud and annoying which is what I need!. The issue I have with this is that I needed to turned down the display brightness quite a lot at night to not light up the room. However this means that in the day it's not possible to see the display at all due to the mirrored front and the lack of contrast between the display and the front. I guess for ยฃ10 I shouldn't complain too much but it's certainly a limitation without adjusting the brightness manually every day/night.

Nice bedside clock with a mirrored face.
This is a well finished, inexpensive, and lightweight bedside alarm clock. It's easy to operate, the alarm time setting needing a few attempts to learn. There are two separate alarms, each giving an electronic beep of fixed volume. It does not feature auto brightness control of the display but does have a rotary control on the side of the unit which smoothly adjusts from off to full brightness. Similarly, there is a night light brightness control to set the level of the white light at the base of the unit. The colour of the digits is fixed, but appears to be different as each of the segments that make up the digit change. I like the use of a few AAA cells to provide a backup for the settings in the event of a power failure, or when unplugging to move it. The batteries do not power the clock display, so may last for years. The images appear to show the face of the clock as having a white face, but it is a mirrored finish. This is good if you particularly want that feature, but I found that it effects my ability to see the time when in a well lit room.At the brightness level I like at night, the digits become invisible when the room is lit in daylight. I can turn up the brightness and it will be bright enough.
