RAINFLOW 15 OZ Fine White Sand for Crafts - Quartz Zen Garden Sand Decorative for Vases Filler; Wedding Unity Ceremony; Incense Burner; Aquarium

I used this sand for my incense burner where I have a little zen garden and to be used to help put the incense out/catch ash. It feels like pretty standard sand, but is beautifully bright white. There is a lot in the pack, so I’ll be able to replace the ash-covered sand a few times before needing to buy another pack. When mixed with ash, the sand becomes a little more gray, but not ugly/gross until a ton of ash gets mixed in. Sand has no scent. Pretty standard colored sand, worked well for what I needed it for!

I used this to replace the sand in a display piece that traces Lissajous figures in sand. The original sand became dirty. I tried replacing the sand with some very fine glass blasting media, but that didn't work out so well. I think it absorbed moisture from the air and caused the tiny beads to stick to each other due to water adhesion/cohesion. This caused particles to be displaced that should not have moved. The RAINFLOW fine sand was perfect, as the particles are fine enough to draw a pattern but large enough so that they don't stick together.

This sand will brighten up your aquarium nicely, and it's easy to landscape. I do recommend rinsing before use just to ensure there's no foreign particles present. Other than that it's a solid decorative sand for your aquarium.

This came in a bag that looks like special white stuff from Mexico LOL not sure why it didn't come in the bag as advertised but the sand is very nice and works great for what i got it for.

I ordered this to replace the sand from my little Zen garden that my grandson got his hands on. Sand be gone! So this sand was the perfect replacement for the original and it looks great. Very fine textured and bright white color, moves nicely in the garden. Glad it was available so I didn't have to buy a whole new garden. Thanks!
