I have been successful catching bass with this lure on the creek next to my property.

I live on the Mississippi River and I love fishing bass. These are some pretty unique lures. I usually use Hula Poppers when bass fishing, so I was excited to try it something different. These didn't disappoint. I got lots of bites. But unfortunately, I just didn't real them in that day. Same thing with leaches. So I know it's not the lures, which come with nice treble hooks. They are super easy to use. I especially like the design and the colors. They are a nice weight for casting, especially.

My husband is a very good, serious fisherman who has traveled to many, many places to fish for bass. He is most often quite successful. When I gave him these lures, he laughed. He said they’re “different, but have to be a gimmick.” I told him the least he could was try them, so he did. Guess what? He caught 4 decent sized bass with these the first time out! So overall, I guess the moral of the story is don’t judge a book by its cover, or maybe don’t judge a lure by its cuteness. Recommended.

I don't know how much the paint job has to do with catching fish. I think it's more the tight wobble and action of the lipless crankbaits, but that's my opinion. That said, they do catch fish, just as my unpainted ones do.

Between the great side to side movement and the loud rattles, these will get the attention of any nearby fish. Quite a unique look and priced very reasonably for such a quality product.

What a novel concept for a crankbait / rattletrap paint scheme! Movement creates movement in life and nature. I know if I was a largemouth watching a meal chase a snack, I might think two for one and make a run at all of those eyeballs. Either that or this pattern is designed just to catch fishermen. We do like shiny things! Honestly, you could probably paint these things in four or five basic bait colors and do just as well as I doubt the fish care that much, but there's something about the cool-factor of what goes into making a great lure helps us believe the fish might just agree. It needs to attract fish obviously, but it also needs to attract my attention, and this little set sure did. Price seems on par, or at least reasonable as a good half-ounce crank bait or rattle trap runs between $7-$9 these days, so $25 for something new like this in a three pack isn't outlandish. I only wish this pack came in different sizes. A half oz lure is a little large for the areas I like to fish. 3/8oz is sort of the sweet spot, and a 1/4 oz rattle trap comes in handy, so putting all three sizes in a 3 pack would be ideal, but I get that Handing went for the color variation instead. Probably catch more fisherman that way, lol. Runs like a mid-depth crankbait, rattles like a trap, and will make your buddies grin. Cool concept. I'd like to see it do well.

The HANDING M1 Lipless Crankbait Fishing Lure with Mustad Hook, Freshwater Bass Hard Rattle Trap style lure's are very colorful and somewhat comical but, effective for catching largemouth bass. Their ample Mustad style hooks are razor sharp and their multi-colored bodies get the attention of fish in varied water conditions. These are very well assembled lures that hold up and operate correctly. At first, I thought these were just a funny gag type item but, once I used them I ordered more of them. I'm extremely satisfied with the quality and effectiveness of the HANDING M1 Lipless Crankbait Fishing Lure with Mustad Hooks and consider them an excellent value!
