I constantly use air tools so this was a great addition. I have a 60 gallon HD compressor so volume offs always there.This unit is small, lightweight and easy to install. The mounting system allows me to remove the system from the wall with the removal of only a small screw. Fast and effective. Highly recommend this reel.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this to put in my barn at my cottage up north. I will use it for light duty activities such as inflating tires, inflating innertubes for floating the river and for blowing off my work station.I’ve had a few of these hose reels in the past. Of the ones I have owned, this was by far the easiest one to install. They send it with some mounting anchors and bolts, but I tossed those aside and used 1/4 inch lag bolts. I was mounting mine into the back jamb for my overhead door track so there’s plenty of backing to hold it firm to. Simply drill four pilot holes, hold the mounting bracket up and install the four lag bolts and then the real slides in from the top down into the bottom of the bracket. Then install one set screw in the bottom bracket so they do not bounce around. It literally took me about three or four minutes to mount it.I like the fact that the hose is thinner on this so the reel itself is smaller and takes up less space. It will work plenty well for my needs as I will not be running nail guns or anything off of it. It unrolls smoothly and although it does hang up a bit on trying to get it to real back in, after about three or four tries it will usually wind itself back up. Once you get it going, it winds up quickly and smoothly. This will be a nice addition to my shop and will make life much easier. I’m tired of trying to reel up hoses every time I want to inflate a tire. The price on this is lower than others that I have purchased in the past, but again, it’s also lighter duty than some of my others. I think it is a fair price for a nicely designed product and I definitely have no hesitations in recommending it.

It is difficult to really write a comprehensive review. Prior to installing this on my garage wall I tested the spring on the unit. I honestly don’t know if this unit was defective or not because it was difficult pulling out the hose from the reeland on top of that, it never stayed in place when I pulled it to a certain distance.What good is purchasing an air hose reel if you can’t pull out the hose or haveit stop at a certain distance?II can’t imagine a company manufacturing a hose reel like this, which leads me to think it had bad springs in it. I had nothing to compare it to, so I’m assuming it might be a dud, but then again, I honestly don’t know. As far as rating the hose reel, I have to give it one star because it did not perform as it should have.

This reel has been great so far. I mounted it on the wall of my garage above head height to use for airing up tires and balls for my daughter. It can also be used for light air tools if needed. The mount was super easy to install, just be sure to find a stud. Then the bracket built into the reel will slide into the mount. You then install a set screw that locks the bracket to the mount. Pretty simple. It pulls out very easily and retracts nicely without binding. You do have to give it just the right tug to get it to retract but it's pretty simple overall. I moved the ball stopper towards the coupler connection because I didn't what the whip to hang out as far as it did out of the box. The male and female coupler ends seem of good quality and easily connected to the fittings and hoses going to my compressor.
