I have been taking a grass-fed bovine based collagen for ~ 9 months and have been okay with it but I decided to try a marine collagen to switch it up. I am so glad I did! First of all, the flavor of this product is MUCH cleaner than the bovine. I was tricking myself into thinking my bovine collagen was taste-free, however it left a savory taste to my black coffee which made me not want to drink it as often. I mixed a scoop of Pure Marine Collagen into my black coffee and WOW. No fish flavor. No savory flavor. It was CLEAN. I was impressed and I'll definitely be adding it on a daily basis! I'll note that it *does* need some stirring but it will go into solution - very similar to bovine options I've tried.The added benefits that sold me:(1) from skins of fish caught for human consumption = sustainable(2) sourced from wild caught fish = ever *more* sustainable!(3) a website with science!!- Firstly, I love that this company uses the WHOLE fish. People used to eat fish skins along with the flesh, right? The American diet has been missing out and Pure Marine Collagen helps us add back an important nutrient while reducing waste from fish harvesting - win-win!- Secondly, the sustainability of farm-raised fish is questionable at best. Farm raised fish have to eat something, and that "something" may come from chickens, cows, or other sources with greater environmental impact. Consuming wild-caught fish (and fish collagen!) is a choice I've made as a consumer. Don't get me wrong, I love a good burger, but 90% of the time I'll choose sustainable if its economical.- Thirdly, their website lists clinical trials and scientific studies done with collagen. What?!? Rarely do I find a "health" product that backs its potential benefits with RESEARCH. As a food scientist and researcher myself, I am impressed and feel confident that the this company is selling a quality product and rather than duping customers into thinking its a magic elixir. On behalf of all scientists, Thank You, Kenny & Ross!Do yourself a favor and check this collagen out! The flavor is great - that is, if "great" means non-existent ;)

I think it's a good product and I appreciate that it contains no shellfish. It's not completely tasteless and I found it harder to mix in cold beverages. But overall I think it's a good collagen option.

Takes a while to dissolve but eventually does.As for taste- it has a subtle "sardine" flavor and odor.Im trying to deal with it.Only started a week ago so too early to see results.Will review again in a few weeks.

This smells and tastes like ocean water .. too fishy... and I tossed it . Don't waste your money.

I was reluctant about trying K&R Fish Collagen since I am one of those people with hypersensitive taste buds and the thought of a product like this would make me queasy. I will assure you this is completely odorless and tasteless! I started with a 1/2 a scoop added to my morning coffee and progressed to a full scoop. It dissolved easily with about 15 seconds of effort whisking with a fork. After about 2-3 weeks, I noticed a huge improvement in the way I felt. At 56, I'm recovering from ACL/Meniscus surgery and this product has miraculously reduced my stiffness and pain, which has given me the most needed encouragement to get me to the next level of recovery. K&R Collagen has also substantially improved my energy level–waking up alert, energized and with less sleep! I could not have posted a review after this remarkable experience. This product has provided me with the quickest and most positive results with an alternative medicinal approach thus far.

I just started using this product so the 2 stars are not for how well it works, but for the taste. Many reviews stated it was tasteless. It is NOT tasteless. It has a nasty taste to it and if you are mixing it with water, you really have to get accustom to the taste and smell. In addition, it doesn't completely dissolve and there are gelatinous pieces floating around. I will follow up with another review on how well the product itself works.

Mixes well and no taste. Great to combine with protein powder

I have been taking this product for almost a month and can tell a big difference in how I feel. I am a 58 year old woman who is in excellent health, but still have the stiffness and aches and pains that go along with being my age. It was a gradual improvement the longer I used this product. I noticed it wasn't as hard to get up from sitting a long time....you know.....those first tentative steps to get loosened up. I could get up in the mornings and walk across the room easier. A specific example was going to the movies and being able to get up and immediately start walking down the stairs without holding on to the rail and taking one step with both feet until I loosened up. I love this product. I am going to keep using it and see if I can tell a difference in my skin tone. So far it is doing what it is advertised to do. I am happy!
