Tamarac by Slippers International Women's Galaxie Shearling Slipper

They are slippers so you can't expect a ton of arch support but they mold to your feet quite nicely. They are very well made. I generally wear a 7 1/2 so I order an 8 and they fit perfectly. I would recommend ordering up a size if you are a half size. They are a bit wide on my heels but I have excessively narrow feet. I think they would fit medium to wide feet quite well. They are very warm and comfy.

I LOVE THESE SLIPPERS... These slippers fit exactly as the size says they are... I ordered a size 8 W and that is what i got.. not a centimeter more or less. They are cushy and soft inside and the sole is very non-skid and thick evnough that if I had to I could go out into the driveway. I have bought 10's of pairs of slippers in thee ppast 14 yrs, as I am disabled, and i have finally found the most comfortable, the most stylish, and the warmest without ever sweating in them of even higher priced brand name ones that were wrong in every way including the fit... If i have to buy another pair someday in in the future, it will be this exact pair.... they are also adorable with jeansand leggings and even my long all day loungers.. and you feet stay refreshed and not tired. They fit exactly like the size chart says they fit ! Trust it !

I have a bit of trouble if I get a size 6 that I slosh around or walk out of shoes. This slipper is a bit small and were just a tad snug on one foot, but that is with first wearing. Since then I have worn them several times and they are breaking in beautifully. So soft and WARM. Easy on Easy off. Love the sherpa instead of some synthetic make believe. So glad I purchased them. Only problem is that with shoes and slippers sizing is not consistent, so if you normally wear 6M please size up.

When you buy Tamarac slippers you will receive quality footwear with warmth and cozy comfort. Seriously, I bought a pair of these last year and I left them on the floor where one of my resident greyhounds decided the fur was rabbit like. Well, it is not rabbit thankfully. However, those Tamarac slippers were destroyed. I found them again this year, although not the red I had hoped for. No worries though this color is stunning and my feet are happy again. I wear a 7.5 and have always sized down. I would recommend the same to anyone with a half size. I love these slippers and have learned a valuable lesson. Keep the slippers away from dogs...as they seem to enjoy them as much as the owner. :)

Received these in the color Sand today. They are warm and comfortable, though I am not sure there is any sign of the memory foam the product description mentioned. As everyone has said, they run SMALL! I ordered one size up and my toes touch the end of the slipper. But it doesn't hurt, and they should stretch just enough. The Sand slippers are on sale and I think they are worth the price. I don't think they would be worth full price. But for what I paid, they are good enough.*Follow-up, October 2013:* It's been a year and they have held up just fine. They did stretch to be the right size. I wear them every day around the house except during the hottest part of summer. I got the "sand" color because it was on sale and I think it's really ugly -- but they are just slippers. Wish one of the darker colors had been on sale. Anyway, they have held up better than most of my previous pairs of slippers, and that's even though I have gone outside in them a few times. I got my money's worth.

I don't buy any other slippers any more. Bought a pair for my mom as well......the rubber sole is durable and reaches just high enough that you can walk outside in the rain to get the morning paper without getting your feet wet. Because of the fur lining it molds to your foot and my mom no longer gets rashes from a loose fitting slipper or circulation problems from a tight slipper. The folded down cuff can be flipped up for add'l ankle warmth. I have had mine for 5 years, still looks like new, every so often I use my pets brush to fluff the interior fur, but that it.....I have even worn to the corner store on occasion (you know we all have lazy days).

My wife wears her slippers most of the day due to the fact that she is an at-home mom combined with her general aversion to normal footwear. She absolutely loves these slippers, wears them all the time, raves about the comfort, and they have a non-slip sole which helps keep her upright on our slicked tile floors. The fit was good, it has a memory foam insole, and the fuzzy shearling lining is also a big plus. Also, as I am a price point person, I feel that these stack up to the LL Bean variety in comfort and durability at a fraction of the cost. I would definitely recommend this purchase for someone whose slippers are a daily wear item.

There is a big bulge right where your heel goes. Blisters!!!!
