Seems to be working, doesn't smell bad
This is a standard (large-1l) stray bottle, containing a liquid that can be sprayed onto surfaces to keep spiders from the sprayed areas.I've had a lot of spiders these past few years, so this seemed like a good idea. The first thing to note is that the liquid doesn't smell bad at all, which I expected it to. It's easy enough to spray the liquid using the bottle, though you can also indirectly apply it using a cloth which allows a more even application.I had a look at the ingredients, and it seems to be the same chemical that is used to repel insects, so this liquid should actually repel insects too, which is great (if that's what you want of course!).Having sprayed it, I haven't seen any spiders around those areas yet, so I really can't complain about this spray. It seems to do it's job, without an unpleasant odour. I don't really like using strange chemicals like is in this though, to be honest.

Spider-free for 4 weeks.
Normally I tolerate spiders but this year we have been plagued by dozens of Daddy Long Legs Spiders in the house. We have oak beams all over and their webs had become an unsightly mess.I saw this product and reluctantly decided to give it a try. I vacuumed up all the webs and then sprayed the spider repellent all over the beams. It has been 4 weeks now and no spiders have reappeared.

Slow
I got this as I wanted a spider killer spray rather than a repellent and the fact this is professional strength and can be used indoors is a huge bonus for me.This does kill spiders BUT unfortunately you will need to spray the spider three or four times and even with all this spray it still takes about ten to fifteen minutes before the spider dies and during this time the spider is still moving around but at least from its movement you can tell it is working. The bottle is not great when using the spray the liquid leaks out down the handle onto your hands so I would say wear gloves when using it.

Prevent Those Nasty Monsters Indoors & Outdoors!
This comes in a 1L white plastic bottle with trigger spray nozzle. It’s designed as a killer spray, but it sounds like it can also work preventatively as the brand says it “lasts up to 12 weeks”. The inclusion of cypermethrin is what helps to repel insects, while the creation of a “moisture-resistant barrier” helps to keep spiders, eggs, webs and all other icky insect stuff at bay in even damp, outdoor areas. As such, it should work on other creepy crawlies as well as spiders.Firstly, make sure to shake this well before each use, which is easy to forget to do. Turn the nozzle to go from the off setting to a stream of a spray. I use the spray as it’s far better for spritzing a larger area and getting better coverage. I’m using this product mostly preventatively and mostly outdoors around the doorframes and CCTV cameras. I’ve sprayed indoors as well while trying it out and I’ve had no issues around PVC doors or carpet, so it does seem quite safe and gentle in that regard. The brand does note it’s non-staining, but if you’re unsure just try a little area first to check. Always keep this sort of thing away from pets and their bedding though. I’ve only sprayed this directly onto one spider and it’s not instant death, not that I’ve found any spray to be that good yet. I ended up spraying more than I probably should out of stone cold fear (it was monster-sized) and it took a while before he slowed down and started to curl up, but it did seem to work in the end.As for preventative use, it’s hard to say how effective it is and it’s early days yet, but the front porch, which seems to get covered in webs and yuck the moment after cleaning, seems to be far less web-covered than usual. I get the feeling this is pretty decent stuff for prevention so I’ll stick to using it mostly for that and routinely spray around everything every couple of weeks. The bottle is a good size at 1L so at £12.90 (at the time of writing) it’s a reasonable investment for any arachnophobe like myself!

This really works
I must admit that I was a bit sceptical about whether or not this would work - we have tons of spiders in our house because we live in the countryside so I have tried numerous traps over the years and I was not really expecting this to perform any better but I was very pleasantly surprised. We had a couple of medium to largeish sized spiders outside our front door and despite wiping them away a couple of times they kept coming back and making their webs.I sprayed this on the spiders and webs and they just reacted as though it was raining heavily - and I thought that was it - but then within 10 minutes both of the spiders had stopped moving - I thought maybe they were just resting - but then a few hours later I checked again and they had not moved - I wiped them up and they were dead - it really worked - this is the first spider killer that has worked 100% - well impressed. The spray has the usual on/off nozzle twist thing - see photo - and the trigger worked fine straight out of the box.
