I picked these up for my kids. They've wanted a nativity set of their own for a while at Christmas time and this seemed like it would fit the bill.To be honest, when I ordered it and looked at the size, I figured these things would be tiny. When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. While not huge by any means, they were not as small as expected.They're made of some type of plastic but seem to be decently made. As shown in the phots, the stable portion lights up but uses a different sized battery (honestly, couldn't you just use AAA's?). However, it seems to work well.Other than that, not much to say, it's pretty much exactly as it appears in the photos and my kids are happy.

I didn't order this for a child, I ordered it for the child in all of us - at least everyone in my family - at Christmas. The quality of this set is very good, the figures have sweet, adorable faces and arrive well-packaged in formed styrofoam which will serve well for storage once the holiday season is over. I'm very pleased with these whimsical nativity pieces and recommend them for anyone who is a child at heart!

The first words out of my mouth when I opened this was "this is so stinking cute." This nativity set is small, but is perfect for mantle or shelf and is just adorable. The pieces are well crafted and have a lot of detail. They're really cute.

The pieces are very nicely made and painted. Each piece is clearly identifiable. It's the perfect size for things like holiday shelves and entry way tables. My wife will be putting this on her shelf in the dining room that she decorates for each holiday or season. Ver nice find.

I got this small nativity set for my religious education class. I wanted them to be able to participate in putting the scene together. The characters are well defined. The animals scale is off. The animals are tiny compared to the people, but it doesn't upset the nature of the manger.
