The Moomins: The World of Moominvalley: 80th Anniversary Edition – A stunning gift book containing everything you need to know about the Moomins

Beautiful book. If you want all the lore from the original moomin books organised amidst a trove of Tove’s own illustrations, this is all you need.There is also a large biography of Tove’s life at the back of the book. It includes many photographs and older illustrations.I own a lot of art/lore books of various literary, film and video game franchises and i’ve not cone across one put together so thoughtfully and with as much love for its subject as this one.I give this the highest of recommendations.

My 7-year-old son loves these stories and characters; see the Tove Jansson books elsewhere on Amazon. The books communicate interesting and beneficial values and thoughts about life. And a bit of science and engineering as well. And, my son says "you never know what's going to happen next." He likes that.

She was overjoyed and is thoroughly reading, reviewing and re-reviewing. Good delivery from England.

An absolute joy and must have for any Moomin afficianado.

The book is fine, and as expected, but as you can see from the pictures included, the book cover was damaged in transit. Very disappointing to see this, as the box itself was okay, and the other items were okay, but despite the air inserts and such, this book which is a gift for a collector, is in less than stellar condition. Very disappointing.

It is good book and well done, but it is not actual set of books in one book. So I was thinking it is all books in one, it is not.
