You'll need an ash pan!
Any opportunity to start a fire is good for me! This heavy metal fire pit is a unique way to enjoy some burning embers. With its wide gaps you can easily see the burning fire and feel the heat from it too. It's easily assembled and disassembled and comes with a bag to store it in. 2 things to mention: you'll need plenty of small pieces of dry wood to get your fire going and you'll need to find something to catch the ashes while the fire is burning. This fire pit seems well made and durable. With proper cleaning and storage it should be around for quite some time.

Very sturdy
This outdoor firepit is very sturdy. It was somewhat simple to put together. The pieces required a bit of finagling to get them to all fit together properly, but once they did it was easy enough to put the cotter pins in and secure them. The included bag is for storing it taken apart. This would be nicer if that didn't mean unbending and re-bending cotter pins every time you want to take it apart and put it back together. I would like this more if this was done with something easier to remove that wouldn't need replacing after a few uses. It did come with 8 extra cotter pins, but I only plan on having this out when I want to use it and then put it away afterwards. Other than this inconvenience, which I might be able to fix with some sort of easily removable clip, it is a very nice somewhat portable firepit.

Mondazie 17 Inch Outdoor Fire Pit
This fire pit is pretty good to have around. I don’t do much camping, but I wanted it to use in my yard on occasion, then stow it away where it won’t take up much space. To do this, the unit will require assembly every time, and I’m torn about this. On one hand, this could dissuade me from using it as often as I wanted. On the other hand, assembly is very simple and will only take 10 minutes or less. Time will tell if that is enough to be a deterrent, but it really is a nice fire pit. The steel is quality – strong and sturdy. As mentioned, assembly is simple and requires 8 bolts to be screwed in. The other pieces slot into each other, and it’s not too difficult to do or undo. It has some weight to it, so it won’t move around once assembled, but it’s still light enough to carry around when it’s in its handy carrying case, which is also a plus. Overall, I really like this fire pit, and I will certainly use it. How often remains to be seen.

Small but well made
This is a small fire pit. The design allows for good air circulation. This allows for a even small fires to burn impressively. This is good for a small patio or backyard. It was easy to assembly and it made of good quality steel. I wanted something small and this fit the bill.

Well made portable fire pit.
This is a great option for a portable fire pit. It's not super easy to put together, but if you have a helper around to help hold things in place you can get the hang of it pretty easily. The stand has to be bolted on while the panels just slide together and then are secured with a cotter pin. That would be a little more difficult to do on a regular basis, but not too much of a hassle. It comes with a carry bag that is really well made. It's surprisingly nice, really.I ended up welding everything together since it was such a hassle to put the panels on with one person. I added a gas burner to the bottom and some lava rocks on the inside and now it works like a dream.Would recommend.

Nice quality
This fire pit was really easy to assemble. Each piece is solid and sturdy. The legs plant firmly on the ground without any wobbling. It's a great size for a small yard or patio area. The metal pins that secure the panels together can be bent open to take it apart, and the carrying case holds each piece for easy transport.

Bottom is hollow slated also
Reviewing Mondazie 17 Inch Outdoor Fire Pit for Camping, This is a little esmaller than expected but not extreme. The measurements are included in the listing, I just didn’t pay close enough attention. The size still works well, but it is not a solid bottom, which means it has limited usefulness outside of a ground fire pit. I’ll explain more below. It is solid steel so is durable and sturdy construction. It needs assembled, but it only took 15 to 20 minutes to assemble and that includes a few interruptions. It comes with a bag, but I’m not sure why because once it’s put together, it doesn’t collapse. You would need to totally take it apart for transport, which doesn’t make sense. It’s only about 15 lbs, so you can pick it up and transport it in an assembled state, but if you’ve been using it, it would be ashy and dirty and doesn’t fit in the bag when it’s put together, so that doesn’t make much sense. The bottom has slates, just like sides, which means it’s open to the ground below, just like the sides. I can’t put this on the patio and have a fire without ash and embers falling out onto the patio. The same for putting it out in the yard, or at a campsite on the grass or brush. It needs to be set on/in a ground firepit so that any embers or ash that falls out is contained in the firepit. That seems very silly to me to have a firepit that needs to put in a firepit for safety reasons. It would be much more useful if it was a solid bottom and at least a solid insert to go around the sides. Rating 4 stars because the listing is mentions the sides are ‘hollow’ but not the bottom. If I could rate 3.5 stars, I would.

Sturdy and Easy Assembly
I got this because I moved out in the country. While I had the option to have a huge bonfire, some nights I just wanted something small for me and my husband to roast marshmallows on that would be easy to put out at night. The fire pit came pretty fast (about 4 days delivery) and while I was out Ubering one day, my husband put it together while I was gone. When I asked him about it, he said it was the quickest assembly for a fire pit (just a few screws) he’d ever done. I know that makes this product sound cheap, but let me tell you, it’s not. It’s got some weight to it and is super sturdy to boot! I thought it was going to be light as heck to carry across the yard, but it wasn’t. It took me a hot minute to get from where he put it together to where I wanted it. The first night we used it, it contained the fire and ashes well. As with all fire pits like this they need to be cleaned out after each use.
