With the new size restrictions of 22x14x9” for airline carryon luggage, I had to ditch my Delsey, which btw, I love; it has a depth of 10”. I researched if the 1” extra would be a problem on airlines and for every one of them, including foreign airlines, it was a solid yes.After reading so many reviews on Amazon and on the internet comparing lots of luggage, I decided on this Samsonite because of the company’s longstanding reputation.This carryon fits 22x14x9” airline standard. And yes, the 5lbs that it states in the description is pretty accurate. The shell is very lightweight and can be pushed in easily. I’m glad it’s a carryon and not going in the cargo hold; I’d be worried about heavier luggage being thrown on it and possibly cracking the shell. But maybe it won’t. In any case, it’ll be safe in an overhead bin.I bought the blue, and although I am generally not a fan of lighter blues, this has a metallic sheen that is very pleasing. The pull-up handle is pretty smooth with minimal wabble…there is always some give on these handles. The TSA lock works great. I read some reviews stating the bag came locked with no instructions. My advice, Google or YouTube it. I also saw some reviews saying the zipper pull on the lining at the bottom of the compartment was sewn in backwards. I Googled it! It’s supposed to be that way. Makes sense though, not only for repairs but the pull won’t get caught on clothing sitting against it.The carryon appears to have enough room for 3-4 days for clothing; I haven’t tried it yet. I will be traveling to Europe in June so I may do a follow-up to speak on the durability after being thrown in and out of a tour bus.But so far, and because of the Samsonite reputation, it’s a keeper.

Large, roomy suitcase with two no frills soft partitions. Light weight (10.7 lbs) and looking slick. Happy with my purchase. Got to see how it holds up with usage.

We received the suitcase on March 26, but as we were about to travel abroad, we didn’t inspect it carefully at the time. When we were packing to return to the U.S., we discovered that the suitcase was damaged — the zipper area was torn. It’s unbelievable that a suitcase purchased for $200+ would have this kind of issue.

light, handle rails are on outside of the case, which makes much easier to pack and use handles. well designed, nice wheels

This is a great lightweight luggage that's easy to maneuver, and I'm keeping it for sure! The only improvement to make it a 5-star product would be to add stoppers to the zippers -- right now, the zippers have the nail-like clippers in place near the folding area, which makes me think that it's more fragile than some of the other luggages by Samsonite.

Perfect as carry on. Super light, rolls well and lots can fit inside.

Site ad includes features such as the handle adjusts in 1 inch increments. It has only two positions. It also is advertised as expandable but it isn't. It is really light and seems like good construction but it is overpriced for what is actually delivered. Upon reflection, I believe this might be a counterfeit item since the features on the website are the features that Samsung says it should have.
