I purchased this item because I go thru a lot of pens in my job as a delivery driver. Customers keep pens, the fall out of pockets while delivering etc, so i wanted ones i didnt care about losing. Figured that these would be misprints but they all appear to be brand new blank pens. High quality. Highly recommended! Apx 150 pens

I am a sucker for a good pen! I bought a box of these for work and home and they turned out to be great! They write smoothly and are a much more durable pen then I expected! Will definitely purchase again once my stock runs out!

I’m always looking for a pen around my house! I don’t like gel or stick pens, so I decided to buy some promotional type pens. They’ve always been the best pens in my experience, but I didn’t want to spend money having something written on them. Then I found this item: 5 lb. Box of Assorted Misprint Metal Retractable Ball Point -… . What a find!I must have gotten really lucky, because I didn’t receive 120 pens. I received 168!!! I also didn’t have to be concerned about deciding what color to give away versus keep, because they are all the same, nice blue color with black ink. No concerns about the possibility of my granddaughter getting her hands on a pen with objectionable messages or whatever, because none of them have ANY print on them at all! I was sent a box of 14 dozen, seemingly untouched pens with stylus tips for the unbelievable price of $0.1654 a piece. Of the approximately 10% that I tested, only 2 wouldn’t write and they probably just need a little priming.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you take a chance just like I did and order these pens. Who knows? You just might get lucky too!

So I ordered 5lbs of pens which is what I wanted pens. When I opened the box I realized there were not just pens in here, half of them were flashlights. I didn't need flashlights. I was not happy. It doesn't say when you are buying them you may get flashlights it says pens. So be careful when you are buying these. I went ahead and kept these as at least half were pens. Now some pens are broken, not all pens work even the flashlights they don't work either so you have to go through all of it. Some pens only last a day some last a couple weeks. Which is why I gave 4 stars. I have bought these before so I already knew what I was getting myself into and I would still buy again.

The product description says you get about 5 pounds of pens but the whole box it was shipped in weighed only 4.3 pounds ???!!! But I guess it also said you would get around 120 pens and it turned out to be way more than that …174 to be exact. But what’s the point of getting that many when only 4 or 5 actually worked (I stopped checking after 100 pens!)The description also mentioned you may get assorted pens of different business organizations that have misprinted logos but I only received one specific type with no business logos or labels at all.It looks like the ink in the pens have completely dried out; most would “work” after the initial scratch but stop after writing an average of 10 words. I would have settled for 50% of the pens to work but after scratching out 100 and getting only 4 or 5 (and even then I’m not sure how long these will last), all I can say is the seller is obviously trying to pawn off defective products!

Great value for the price. Box arrived and the bulk of the pens were in a plastic bag with about 20 of the heavier higher end pens loose on top of the bag. My count was 119 pens which is pretty spot on to their listed approximate 120. There are definitely some different qualities ratings amongst them but they are all good quality so I broke it down to 2 categories during my count with the deciding factor being the stylus. So I have 66 without the stylus and 53 with the stylus. Among the stylus group about half of the pens are definitely heavier and higher quality than some regular individual pens that I've bought for $3 each at an office supply store in the past when I was fed up with cheap pens. So, I think this is a great buy overall, I tested a few as I was counting and all of those tested worked perfectly immediately except for one which needed 2 seconds of scribble to get the ballpoint rolling. Also as an employee of a Christian non-profit organization I had to look over all of the names stamped on the pens and was pleased that I found nothing crude, vulgar, or inappropriate for my values or those of my workplace.

I'm very persnickety about pens. It may be because I do a lot of art work and the feel of the implement in my hand is important for comfort and control. Since I always lose them (or they are coveted and swiped by others but I'm not at all paranoid) I hate spending money on them. And the ones at places like Walmart are just so ersatz.I heard about these bulk pens and gave it a try. How much fun I've had rummaging through my five pounds of writing instruments!Some of them need to have the teeny tiny covers removed from the ball point or it will seem like they don't work. Other glorious surprises have been experienced like pens that have little led lights so that if you're trying to write in low light conditions you can see what you're writing (could also work when trying to read a program at a concert or other performance (if we ever get to have them again).I think this is an awesome deal. And if a few don't work, so what? I figure I'm paying about 38 cents apiece.
