Distianert 1/12 Scale RC Truck 4WD Electric Amphibious RC Car, 2.4GHz 18km/h High Speed Monster Truck, Off-/On- Road Buggy for All Terrain

 I have installed my Gopro on it. it is perfect to hold it on the truck. You can use it to take funny videos. Yes you need to upgrade the plastic pieces to metal but they are cheap upgrades. It's a hobby grade truck. You have to treat it like a real vehicle. All these guys on here complaining about breaking parts the first day are probably being to hard on the truck. This thing is solid and crawls very well. I can't wait to do all the upgrades.

This car has no control ability. Throttle is 100% on or off. Steering is the same, no control just 100% hard left or right. You can NOT control this car on a track or any other desired path or course. You can not properly rock crawl with it. I am not even going to test it in water. It just sucks, and is near impossible to control. The remote control is the cheapest part of the package. Its sooooo bad!!!! Amazon should not be selling this RC Amphibious piece of garbage. I feel bad for any child that gets this thing as gift.

Ordered this for my son for his birthday. Initially, I wanted to surprise him but then let him select as he is into monster trucks. Installation of this was very easy. The upper body is very light probably so that the car can run fast due to the lightweight. Packaging was really good. Actually, when I read that The maximum speed is 45km/ hour I did not believe it, but when my son assembled it and tried it indoor we realized that the claim was good.

The car picks up speed at the touch of a button and really runs like a race car. It takes 2 hours of full charge and playtime is 15 minutes. Luckily, the batteries are rechargeable. And the car has a spare battery that can be replaced at any time.Batteries for the remote are not. Remote can control the car up to a distance of 50 meters which is quite a distance. My son plays in the backyard and porch and really enjoys it.

The monster truck also has shock absorbing springs which I was fascinated to watch in action. It probably gives more speed and glides to the car. My son absolutely loves his gift.

 Definitely fun! Goes where other RCs cannot. It’s not very fast, but it doesn’t need to be for crawling. I do have a cheaper 4WD independent suspension for dry conditions, and it’s a bit more wild than this one but I believe that’s because it doesn’t have the same torque ratio.The attached video should give you an idea on the capabilities.

 Below is the message I sent to Distianert regarding the defective RC Rock Rover. In a nut shell, charged it up, wrapped it up, 6 year old son opened it, was super excited, it drove 10 feet across our living room and died. They replaced it free of charge and the replacement came in with 4 flat tires. The ONE gift my son asked Santa for, repeatedly, was a remote control monster truck. My son just turned 6, so not wanting to break the bank, I ordered this item after reviewing the fed back on Amazon and felt good with the purchase. We opened it up upon arrival to charge the batteries and charged them for 8 hours per the instructions so it would be ready to go Christmas morning. There was 1 strange thing with the battery charging, in the instructions it says the flashing red light on the charger will go solid when fully charged. Ours the light flashed when it was charging then shutoff. Christmas morning my son opened up his truck, was thrilled and wanted to play with it. We opened up the box, I showed him how to drive it and it made it half way across our living room floor and it was dead, totally unresponsive. After a few seconds the steering would begin to respond, but it still would not drive. We tried the second battery, nothing. I have given the batteries a second 8 hour charge, the charger again was flashing, then the light turned off. When the battery pack is unplugged, the LED light goes solid. Again, nothing. I am trying really hard to keep my cool and not be furious with you, but you really crushed my 6 year old son today on Christmas.

This was a great purchase, it’s well made, comes with two battery packs, is very rugged and well made. I was looking for a water proof, 4x4 rock crawler that was a step above the toy RC vehicles, but not as costly as the serious enthusiast vehicles. The Distianert fit this niche perfectly.

I bought it for my little son as a gift because I promised will give him a big racing car when I travel back from a trip. But I really got a tight schedule and don’t have a chance to look at it when I was traveling. That’s why bought a one as replacement online. I don’t worry about it when I got the product. Very nice quality and too many different colors. But because my older girl love blue color., she made the decision. So far so god. My son like it and he is ok to share with his sister.,

I haven't run this through any deep water, but it did go through puddles without issue. It's pretty quick and easy to steer. The remote is made of a thinner plastic, so just don't drop it. The batteries are essentially rechargeable AAs packaged together, which is probably why the run time is shorter than some other more expensive RC vehicles. It takes about 2 hours to charge via the supplied USB cable (just plugs into any USB adapter). You get about 15 minutes of runtime out of a charge, but the vehicle comes with two battery packs, which is nice. The joints of the suspension are made of plastic, so even though we've jumped it off of some ledges, I'm not sure how long the joints are going to hold up for. The kids really enjoy it, though.
